4. Setup and Assembly

4.1. Battery Installation

5. Operating the Planer

The planing depth can be adjusted using the front knob. Rotate the knob to select the desired depth, typically ranging from 0 to 2.6 mm. Start with a shallow depth for initial passes and increase gradually if needed.

Place the front shoe of the planer flat on the workpiece. Start the motor, then smoothly push the planer forward, maintaining even pressure. Ensure the entire baseplate remains in contact with the wood. Avoid tilting the planer during operation.

5.3. Rebating Depth Adjustment

For creating rebates (rabbets), attach the guide bracket. The rebating depth can be adjusted up to 9 mm. Ensure the guide is securely fastened and set to the desired width and depth before beginning the cut.
