Important Note: All lighters are shipped without butane. Please fill with fuel before use.
Setup
1. Butane Refilling Instructions
To ensure proper function and safety, follow these steps for refilling your LcFun Torch Lighter:
- Drain Residual Gas: Use a small screwdriver or similar tool to press the refill valve at the bottom of the lighter to release any remaining gas. This prevents overfilling and ensures a clean refill.
- Adjust Flame to Lowest: Turn the flame adjuster at the bottom of the lighter to the lowest setting (towards the '-' sign). This minimizes gas flow during refilling.
- Refill: Turn the lighter upside down. Firmly insert the nozzle of a butane gas canister (ensure it has a long nozzle) into the lighter's refill valve. Press down vertically for several seconds. Repeat 2-3 times until the visible fuel window indicates the lighter is approximately 85% full. Avoid overfilling.
- Wait: After refilling, wait at least 4 minutes before attempting to ignite the lighter. This allows the butane to stabilize and reach room temperature.

The visible fuel window (Figure 1, part 3) allows you to monitor the butane level, making it easy to know when a refill is needed.

Operating Instructions
1. Ignition
To ignite the lighter, slide the safety switch (if present) to the 'unlocked' position, then press the ignition button (Figure 1, part 2) firmly. A powerful jet flame will appear from the jet burner (Figure 1, part 1).
2. Flame Adjustment
The flame height can be adjusted using the flame adjuster located at the bottom of the lighter (Figure 1, part 4). Lift the recessed semi-circular handle and turn it towards '+' for a larger flame or towards '-' for a smaller flame. No tools are required for this adjustment.

Maintenance
1. Cleaning
Regularly inspect the jet burner for any debris or blockages. Use a soft cloth to wipe the exterior of the lighter. Do not use abrasive cleaners or immerse the lighter in water.
2. Storage
Store the lighter in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and heat sources. Ensure the flame adjuster is set to the lowest position and the safety switch (if applicable) is engaged before storage.
3. Ceramic Port

Troubleshooting
- Lighter not igniting:
- Check if the lighter has sufficient butane. Refill if necessary (refer to "Butane Refilling Instructions").
- Ensure the flame adjuster is not set too low. Adjust it slightly towards '+' and try again.
- Verify that the spark clip is in the correct position. If the spark is weak or absent, it may be due to incorrect positioning of the spark clip.
- Weak or inconsistent flame:
- This often indicates low butane levels. Refill the lighter.
- Ensure the flame adjuster is set to an appropriate level.
- Allow the lighter to rest for a few minutes after refilling to allow the fuel to reach room temperature.
- Butane splatter during refilling:
- This can occur if the lighter is overfilled. The tank is designed to accept only about 85% of its capacity for safety.
- Ensure the refill valve is pressed firmly and vertically when refilling.
