4. Setup

4.1 Wiring Instructions

The relay acts as a switch and does not provide voltage output; the power supply input (AC/DC) is solely for the module's operation.

The LETLINK module uses the Tuya Smart Life app for remote control. Ensure your router supports 2.4GHz Wi-Fi, as the module does not support 5GHz. If your router has dual bands with the same SSID, temporarily disable the 5GHz band during pairing.

1. Download App: Download the 'Smart Life' or 'Tuya Smart' app from your mobile device's app store (iOS or Android).
2. Power On: Connect the relay module to its power supply (USB 5V or AC/DC 7-32V). The indicator light should flash quickly, indicating it's in quick pairing mode.
3. Open App: Launch the Smart Life app and ensure your phone is connected to the same 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network.
4. Add Device: Tap the '+' icon in the top right corner of the app. The app should automatically discover the device via Bluetooth. Tap to add it.
5. Enter Wi-Fi Password: Confirm your Wi-Fi network (2.4GHz) and enter the correct password.
6. Complete Pairing: Follow the on-screen prompts to complete the pairing process. The indicator light will stop flashing once connected.

• Device not pairing:

  • If your router has dual bands (2.4GHz and 5GHz) with the same name (SSID), temporarily disable the 5GHz band during pairing.
  • Make sure your phone is connected to the same 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network as the device.
  • Place the module close to your Wi-Fi router during the pairing process.
  • If quick pairing fails, long-press the pairing button on the module until the indicator light flashes slowly, then try 'Compatible Mode' in the app.
• Device offline in app:
  • Check the module's power supply and Wi-Fi connection.
