Setup

Initial Charging

The CD player is equipped with a built-in 3600mAh Lithium Ion battery for portable use. Before first use, it is recommended to fully charge the device.

  1. Locate the USB-C charging port on the back of the unit.
  2. Connect the provided USB-C charging cable to the port.
  3. Connect the other end of the USB-C cable to a compatible USB power adapter (not included) or a powered USB port.
  4. The indicator light on the back of the unit will illuminate to show charging status.
  5. Once fully charged, the indicator light may change color or turn off. Disconnect the charging cable.

Powering On/Off

To power on the device, locate the volume control knob on the top panel. Press and hold this knob for approximately 3 seconds until the indicator light illuminates and you hear an audible prompt.

To power off, press and hold the same volume control knob for 3 seconds until the indicator light turns off and the device powers down.

Operating Instructions

CD Playback

The unit supports CD, CD-R, CD-RW, CD-MP3, and CD-WMA formats.

  1. Open the top lid of the CD player.
  2. Place a CD onto the spindle in the CD tray.
  3. Gently move the tone arm (stylus-like arm) over the CD. This action initiates CD playback.
  4. Use the control buttons on the unit or the remote control for playback functions (Play/Pause, Stop, Skip Forward/Backward).

Bluetooth Connectivity

The device functions as both a Bluetooth receiver (to play audio from your phone) and a Bluetooth transmitter (to connect to Bluetooth headphones/speakers).

Bluetooth Receiver Mode:

  1. Power on the CD player.
  2. Press the 'M' (Mode) button on the unit or remote until the indicator light turns blue and you hear "Bluetooth mode".
  3. On your mobile device, search for "Time Music Box" in your Bluetooth settings and pair.
  4. Once connected, you can stream audio from your device to the CD player.

Bluetooth Transmitter Mode:

This mode allows the CD player to transmit audio from a playing CD to external Bluetooth headphones or speakers.

  1. Ensure your Bluetooth headphones/speaker are in pairing mode.
  2. With a CD playing, press and hold the Bluetooth button on the remote control for 3 seconds. The CD player will enter Bluetooth transmission mode and attempt to pair.
  3. Once successfully paired, audio from the CD will play through your connected Bluetooth device.

USB Playback

Insert a USB flash drive into the USB port on the back of the unit. The player will automatically detect and begin playing compatible audio files from the drive.

3.5mm AUX Audio Output

Connect external speakers or headphones using a 3.5mm audio cable to the AUX output port on the back of the unit for alternative audio output.

Maintenance

  • Keep the unit clean by wiping with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or solvents.
  • Ensure the CD tray is free of dust and debris to prevent playback issues.
  • Store the unit in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
  • Do not attempt to disassemble or repair the unit yourself. Refer to customer service for assistance.

Troubleshooting
