1. Introduction

Thank you for choosing the Homvana H101 Cool Mist Humidifier. This device is designed to improve air quality and comfort in your home or office by adding moisture to the air. It features a 3.6L capacity, quiet operation, aromatherapy function, and a mood light. Please read this manual thoroughly before use to ensure proper operation, maintenance, and safety.

2. Important Safety Instructions

READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE USE. FAILURE TO FOLLOW THESE INSTRUCTIONS MAY RESULT IN ELECTRIC SHOCK, FIRE, OR SERIOUS INJURY.

• Always place the humidifier on a firm, flat, waterproof surface at least 12 inches (30 cm) away from walls and appliances.
• Do not place the humidifier directly on carpet, towels, or other absorbent surfaces.
• Do not immerse the base in water or other liquids.
• Always unplug the humidifier before filling, cleaning, or moving it.
• Do not operate the humidifier with a damaged cord or plug.
• Keep the humidifier out of reach of children and pets.
• Use only clean, cool tap water or distilled water. Do not use hot water.
• Do not add essential oils directly into the water tank. Use the designated aroma tray only.
• Do not block the mist outlet.
• This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other). To reduce the risk of electric shock, this plug is intended to fit into a polarized outlet only one way. If the plug does not fit fully into the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician. Do not attempt to defeat this safety feature.

5. Setup

Follow these steps for initial setup and filling:

1. Unpack: Carefully remove all packaging materials and place the humidifier on a flat, stable surface.
2. Position: Ensure the humidifier is placed at least 12 inches (30 cm) from walls and furniture, and not directly on absorbent surfaces.
3. Fill Water Tank:
   • Remove the top cover of the humidifier.
   • Pour clean, cool tap water or distilled water directly into the water tank through the wide top opening. Do not exceed the maximum fill line.
   • Replace the top cover securely.

4. Connect Power: Plug the power cord into a suitable electrical outlet. The humidifier is now ready for operation.

6. Operating Instructions

The Homvana H101 Humidifier features an intuitive control panel for easy operation.

6.1 Power On/Off

• Press the Power Button once to turn the humidifier on. It will start operating at the default mist level.
• Press the Power Button again to turn the humidifier off.

6.2 Adjusting Mist Level

The humidifier offers two mist output settings: High (HI) and Low (LO).

• While the humidifier is on, press the Mist Level Button (often indicated by a mist icon) to cycle between High and Low mist output.

6.3 Timer Function

Set the humidifier to operate for a specific duration using the timer function.

• Press the Timer Button to select a desired operating time: 2H, 4H, 6H, 8H, or 10H.
• The humidifier will automatically turn off once the selected time has elapsed.

6.4 Night Light Function

The humidifier includes a mood light with 7 color options.

• Press the Light Button to cycle through the available colors or to turn the light off.

6.5 Aromatherapy Function

Add essential oils to the dedicated aroma tray for a pleasant fragrance.

• Locate the aroma tray, usually a small pull-out compartment at the base of the unit.
• Add 2-6 drops of your preferred essential oil onto the aroma pad inside the tray.
• Slide the tray back into its position. The humidifier will diffuse the scent along with the mist.
• Do not add essential oils directly into the water tank.

7. Maintenance and Cleaning

Regular cleaning is essential for optimal performance and hygiene. For best results, clean the humidifier every 3 days.

7.1 Daily Maintenance

• Unplug the humidifier.
• Empty any remaining water from the tank and base.
• Wipe the tank and base dry with a clean cloth.
• Refill with fresh water before next use.

7.2 Weekly Cleaning (or every 3 days for best results)

The Homvana H101 features an Ag+ enhanced tank to reduce impurity build-up, but regular cleaning is still necessary.

1. Unplug and Disassemble: Ensure the humidifier is unplugged. Remove the top cover and water tank.
2. Clean Water Tank:
   • Use the provided cleaning brush to gently scrub the inside of the water tank, especially around the Ag+ enhanced components, to remove any mineral deposits or residue.
   • Rinse thoroughly with clean water.
3. Clean Base:
   • Pour 1 cup of white vinegar into the base and let it sit for 15-20 minutes to loosen mineral buildup on the nebulizer and water sensor.
   • Use the cleaning brush to gently clean the nebulizer (the small disc) and the water sensor. Do not apply excessive force.
   • Pour out the vinegar and rinse the base thoroughly with clean water.
4. Clean Aroma Tray: Remove the aroma pad and wash it with mild soap and water. Rinse and let it air dry completely before reinserting.
5. Dry and Reassemble: Wipe all parts dry with a clean cloth before reassembling the humidifier.
