1. Introduction

Thank you for choosing the Umarex T4E TR50 Gen 2 Revolver. This training pistol is designed for realistic training scenarios, capable of firing .50 caliber paintballs or rubber balls. It operates on economical CO2 cartridges and features a quick-piercing CO2 chamber for efficient setup. This manual provides essential information for the safe and proper operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of your TR50 Gen 2 Revolver.

2. Safety Information

WARNING: Read all instructions before use. Improper use can cause serious injury or death. Always treat this product as if it were loaded. Keep fingers off the trigger until ready to fire. Always wear appropriate eye protection when operating or near the operation of this device.

• Eye Protection: Always wear shooting glasses to protect your eyes. Buyer and user have the responsibility to obey all laws about the purchase, use, and ownership of this airgun.
• Public Display: Do not brandish or display this airgun in public. This may cause confusion and may be a crime. Police and others may think it is a firearm. Do not change the coloration and markings to make it look more like a firearm. That is dangerous and may be a crime.
• Adult Supervision: This is not a toy. Adult supervision is required. Misuse or careless use may cause serious injury or death. May be dangerous up to 220 yards (200 meters).
• Temperature Warning: Leaving CO2 cartridges in the device, especially in hot conditions (e.g., inside a car on a hot day), can lead to pressure build-up and potential damage or rupture of the device. Always remove CO2 cartridges when storing the device.
• Ammunition: Use only .50 caliber paintballs or rubber balls designed for this product. Do not use any other type of projectile.
• CO2 Cartridges: Use 12g CO2 cartridges. Umarex-brand CO2 is recommended for best performance and seal. Ensure CO2 cartridges are properly seated before piercing.

3. Components

The T4E TR50 Gen 2 Revolver package includes the following main components:

4. Setup

4.1. CO2 Cartridge Installation (Quick Piercing System)

1. Ensure the revolver is unloaded and the safety is engaged.
2. Locate the CO2 chamber at the bottom of the grip.
3. Unscrew the cap of the CO2 chamber.
4. Insert one 12g CO2 cartridge into the chamber, narrow end first.
5. Screw the cap back on firmly. The quick-piercing system will puncture the CO2 cartridge when the cap is fully tightened, pressurizing the system. You may hear a brief hiss as the seal is made.
6. To ensure a proper seal and for best performance, Umarex-brand CO2 is recommended.

4.2. Loading the Rotary Magazine

1. Press the cylinder release button located on the left side of the frame, just above the trigger guard, to swing out the cylinder.
2. Remove the rotary magazine from the cylinder.
3. Carefully insert up to six .50 caliber paintballs or rubber balls into the chambers of the rotary magazine. Ensure they are seated properly.
4. Insert the loaded rotary magazine back into the cylinder, aligning it correctly.
5. Swing the cylinder back into the frame until it locks securely in place.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1. Firing the Revolver

1. Ensure the revolver is loaded with a CO2 cartridge and a loaded magazine.
2. Aim at a safe and appropriate target. Always be aware of your backstop and what is beyond your target.
3. Disengage the safety (if applicable).
4. Pull the trigger to fire. The revolver operates in double-action mode, meaning each pull of the trigger rotates the cylinder and fires a projectile.
5. After all rounds are fired, the revolver will no longer propel projectiles.

5.2. Accessory Attachment

The TR50 Gen 2 features a picatinny accessory mount located on the underside of the barrel. This allows for the attachment of various accessories such as tactical lights or lasers. To attach an accessory, slide it onto the rail and secure it according to the accessory's instructions.

6. Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and reliable performance of your T4E TR50 Gen 2 Revolver.

• Cleaning: After each use, especially when firing paintballs, clean any residue from the barrel and cylinder. Use a soft cloth and a suitable cleaning solution designed for airguns.
• Lubrication: Periodically apply a drop of silicone oil to the CO2 piercing pin and O-rings to maintain a good seal and prevent wear. Do not use petroleum-based oils.
• Storage: Always remove the CO2 cartridge before storing the revolver. Store the revolver in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Keep it unloaded and out of reach of children.
