Setup
1. Battery Installation
The Canon EOS Kiss Panorama requires three CR123A batteries for operation.
- Locate the battery compartment cover on the bottom of the camera body.
- Slide the latch to open the cover.
- Insert three CR123A batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-) as indicated inside the compartment.
- Close the battery compartment cover securely until it clicks into place.
2. Lens Attachment
Your camera comes with a 35-80mm EF Lens.
- Remove the body cap from the camera and the rear cap from the lens.
- Align the red dot on the lens barrel with the red dot on the camera's lens mount.
- Insert the lens into the camera mount and rotate it clockwise until it locks into place with a click.
- To remove the lens, press the lens release button on the camera body and rotate the lens counter-clockwise.

3. Film Loading
The camera features easy drop-in film loading for 35mm film.
- Open the camera back by sliding the film door release latch.
- Insert a new 35mm film cartridge into the film chamber.
- Pull the film leader across to the film take-up spool, aligning it with the orange mark.
- Close the camera back. The camera will automatically advance the film to the first frame.
Operating the Camera
1. Power On/Off and Shooting Modes
To power on the camera, rotate the main dial. The EOS Kiss Panorama offers various shooting modes for different photographic situations.

- Full Auto Mode: The camera automatically sets all exposure parameters.
- Program AE Mode: The camera sets aperture and shutter speed, but allows for program shift.
- Shutter-Priority AE Mode: You set the shutter speed, and the camera selects the appropriate aperture.
- Aperture-Priority AE Mode: You set the aperture, and the camera selects the appropriate shutter speed.
- Manual Mode: You control both aperture and shutter speed.
2. Focusing
The camera supports both Autofocus (AF) and Manual Focus (MF).
- Autofocus: Set the switch on the lens to 'AF'. Press the shutter button halfway down to activate autofocus.
- Manual Focus: Set the switch on the lens to 'MF'. Rotate the focusing ring on the lens until the subject appears sharp in the viewfinder.
3. Exposure Control and Flash
The camera automatically adjusts exposure in most modes. The built-in flash will automatically pop up and fire in low-light conditions when in full auto mode. You can also manually control the flash in other modes.
4. Mid-Roll Change and PQI Function
The EOS Kiss Panorama allows for mid-roll film changes, enabling you to switch film types before finishing a roll. The camera also features a PQI (Print Quality Improvement) function, which records data about the scene to optimize print quality.

5. Print Formats
This camera supports three print formats:
- Classic (C): Standard 3:2 aspect ratio.
- HDTV (H): Wider 16:9 aspect ratio, ideal for TV screens.
- Panorama (P): Ultra-wide aspect ratio for panoramic prints.
Select the desired print format using the camera's controls before shooting.

1. Cleaning the Camera and Lens
