3. Setup

1. Unpack the Ice Maker: Carefully remove the ice maker and all packaging materials. Check for any damage during transit.
2. Placement: Place the ice maker on a flat, stable, and level surface, away from direct sunlight and heat sources. Ensure there is at least 15cm of clear space around the unit for proper ventilation.
3. Initial Stand Time: After receiving the product, please stand the machine upright for at least 4 hours before switching on the power and using it. This allows the refrigerant to settle.

Manual Operation

1. Add Water: Open the lid and fill the water reservoir with potable water up to the MAX fill line. Do not overfill.
2. Power On: Press the 'ON/OFF' button on the control panel to turn on the ice maker.
3. Select Ice Size: If your model supports adjustable ice sizes, use the corresponding button (e.g., 'S' for small, 'L' for large) to select your desired ice cube size.

Automatic Self-Cleaning Program

The ice maker countertop has a self-cleaning function to simplify maintenance.

1. Activate Self-Cleaning: Ensure the water reservoir is filled with clean water. Press and hold the 'ON/OFF' button for more than 5 seconds to enter the self-cleaning program.
2. Cleaning Cycle: The self-cleaning program will run for approximately 30 minutes. During this time, the "S" and "L" indicators may flash alternately.
3. Drain Water: After the cleaning cycle is complete, drain the water from the inner tank through the drainage outlet located at the bottom of the machine.

Manual Cleaning

For thorough cleaning, especially after prolonged use or before storage:

• Exterior: Wipe the exterior with a soft cloth dampened with mild detergent. Dry thoroughly.
• Interior: Remove the ice basket. Clean the interior water tank and ice-making components with a soft cloth and a solution of water and mild vinegar or lemon juice. Rinse thoroughly with clean water.
• Drainage: Ensure the drainage outlet is clear and free of debris.
• Air Filter (if applicable): Periodically clean the air filter located on the side or back of the unit to ensure efficient operation.
