Introduction

This manual provides comprehensive instructions for the safe and efficient operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of your YougetTech EH22T Evaporative Humidifier. Please read this manual thoroughly before first use and retain it for future reference. This humidifier is designed to increase room humidity through a natural evaporation process, suitable for large living spaces up to 2,125 sq. ft.

Important Safety Instructions

To reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, or injury, always follow basic safety precautions when using this appliance:

  • Read all instructions before operating the humidifier.
  • Place the humidifier on a firm, level, water-resistant surface at least 6 inches (15 cm) away from walls and heat sources.
  • Always unplug the humidifier from the power outlet before filling, cleaning, or performing any maintenance.
  • Do not immerse the humidifier base, cord, or plug in water or other liquids.
  • Do not operate the humidifier with a damaged cord or plug, or if the appliance malfunctions or has been dropped or damaged in any manner.
  • Keep the humidifier out of reach of children and pets.
  • Use only clean, cool tap water. Do not add essential oils or other additives to the water tank, as this may damage the unit.
  • Do not block air inlets or outlets. Ensure proper ventilation around the unit.
  • Ensure the nuts inside the humidifier are tightened and the sealing ring is installed correctly before filling water to prevent leakage.

Setup

  1. Unpack the Humidifier: Carefully remove the humidifier and all packaging materials from the box.
  2. Position the Humidifier: Place the unit on a flat, stable, and water-resistant surface. Ensure there is adequate space around the unit for proper airflow.
  3. Check Internal Components: Before adding water, ensure that any internal nuts are tightened and the sealing ring is properly installed to prevent water leakage.
  4. Fill the Water Tank: The humidifier features a top-filling design. Open the top cover and pour clean, cool tap water directly into the water tank. The transparent water level indicator window allows you to monitor the water level. Do not exceed the maximum fill line. The tank capacity is 14.5 L (3.9 Gal).

  1. Connect to Power: Plug the power cord into a standard 110V AC electrical outlet.

Operating Instructions

The humidifier features a touch control panel for easy operation.

  • Power Key: Press to turn the humidifier ON or OFF.
  • Humidification Key (Set-Key / Set+Key): Use these keys to adjust the desired humidity level or fan speed. The humidity adjustment range is from 40% to 99%.
  • 7-Speed Settings: The humidifier offers 7 fan speed settings. You can select a lower speed for quiet operation and stable humidity, or a higher speed to rapidly increase humidity.
  • Auto Humidistat Function: When activated, the built-in humidity sensor automatically initiates and ceases humidification to maintain the set humidity level.
  • Timer Key: Press to set the operating time from 0 to 24 hours. The unit will automatically turn off after the set time expires.
  • Lights Off Key: Press to turn off the display lights for undisturbed sleep.
  • Water Shortage Indicator: When the water level is low, the low water alert light will flash, and the machine will automatically stop operating. Refill the tank to resume operation.

Maintenance

Regular cleaning and maintenance are essential for optimal performance and longevity of your humidifier. Always unplug the unit before cleaning.

  • Daily Maintenance: Refill the water tank with fresh, cool water daily.
  • Weekly Cleaning (Wick and Tank):
    • Unplug the humidifier.
    • Remove the humidifier wick. The wick is washable by hand or machine. Rinse it thoroughly under cool tap water to remove any mineral deposits or debris. For stubborn deposits, soak the wick in a solution of equal parts white vinegar and water for 20-30 minutes, then rinse well.
    • Empty any remaining water from the tank. Wipe the inside of the water tank and base with a soft cloth and a mild detergent solution. Rinse thoroughly to remove any soap residue.
    • Allow all parts to air dry completely before reassembling.
  • Long-Term Storage: If the humidifier will not be used for an extended period, clean all components as described above, ensure they are completely dry, and store the unit in a cool, dry place.

Troubleshooting
