1. Introduction

2. Product Features

4. Safety Information

  • Read all instructions carefully before installation and use.

5. Setup and Installation

The PTOUG LED Solar Post Cap Lamp can be installed on various outdoor posts or pillars. For optimal performance, choose a location where the solar panel receives at least 6-8 hours of direct sunlight daily.

5.1 Solar Installation

  1. Unpack: Carefully remove all components from the packaging.
  2. Initial Charge: Place the lamp in direct sunlight for 1-2 days to allow the internal battery to fully charge before first use.
  3. Positioning: Select a location that receives maximum direct sunlight throughout the day and is free from obstructions like trees or buildings that might cast shadows.
  4. Mounting: Use the provided mounting hardware (screws and anchors) to securely attach the lamp base to your desired post or pillar. Ensure the base is level.

5.2 Wired Installation (Optional)

This lamp includes a built-in E26 bulb base for optional wired use. This is recommended for areas with insufficient sunlight or when a consistent power source is preferred. A standard E26 bulb (max 60W) is required and not included.

  1. Professional Installation: Wired installation should be performed by a qualified electrician to ensure safety and compliance with local electrical codes.
  2. Power Disconnection: Ensure the main power supply is turned off at the circuit breaker before beginning any wired installation.
  3. Wiring: Connect the lamp's internal wiring to your existing 110V AC power supply according to electrical standards.
  4. Bulb Insertion: Screw an E26 base bulb (max 60W) into the socket.
  5. Secure Mounting: After wiring, securely attach the lamp base to the post or pillar using the provided hardware.
  6. Power Restoration: Once installation is complete and secure, restore power at the circuit breaker.

6. Operating Instructions

The PTOUG LED Solar Post Cap Lamp operates automatically with its dusk-to-dawn sensor. The included remote control provides additional functionality for customization.

6.1 Automatic Operation

Once fully charged and installed, the lamp will automatically turn on at dusk and turn off at dawn. The solar panel will recharge the battery during daylight hours.

6.2 Remote Control Functions

The remote control allows you to adjust the light settings according to your preferences.

7. Maintenance

  • General Cleaning: Clean the lamp's exterior with a mild soap and water solution. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents.
  • Battery Replacement: The internal battery is designed for long-term use. If the light duration significantly decreases over time, contact customer support for guidance on battery replacement.

8. Troubleshooting
