5. Operating Instructions: Jump Starting Your Vehicle

Follow these steps to safely jump start your vehicle:

  1. Insert the Jump Cable: Insert the smart jumper cable into the 12V Jumper Cable port on the Ansody S7 Jump Starter. Ensure it is fully seated.
  2. Connect Clamps: Attach the red (positive, +) clamp to the positive terminal of your vehicle's battery. Attach the black (negative, -) clamp to the negative terminal of your vehicle's battery. If the jump leads are not long enough for your passenger car battery, you can clamp the positive pole on the positive pole of the car battery, and the negative pole can be clamped on the iron sheet of the car, not necessarily on the negative pole of the battery.
  3. Check Indicator: The smart jumper cable will have an indicator light. If it's blinking, it indicates a good connection. If the battery voltage is low or there is no battery, press the "BOOST" button on the smart cable. Wait for 30 seconds until the green light comes on.
  4. Start Vehicle: Start your car engine within 30 seconds of the green light appearing.
  5. Remove Cable: Once the vehicle starts, immediately remove the smart jumper cable from the jump starter unit, then disconnect the clamps from the vehicle battery (negative first, then positive).
