Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and extends the life of your lawn mower. Always remove the battery before performing any maintenance.
1. Cleaning
- After each use, clean the underside of the mower deck to remove grass clippings and debris. Use a brush or scraper.
- Wipe down the exterior surfaces with a damp cloth. Do not use water jets or harsh chemicals.
2. Blade Care
- Inspect the blade regularly for sharpness and damage. A dull blade can tear grass, leading to an unhealthy lawn.
- If the blade is dull, it can be sharpened or replaced. Refer to the Greenworks website or authorized service center for replacement blades.
3. Battery Storage
- Store the battery in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
- For long-term storage, charge the battery to approximately 50% capacity.
- Recharge the battery every 3-6 months during extended storage to maintain its health.
