Setup
1. Battery Installation
- Open the battery compartment cover located at the bottom of the thermometer.
- Insert two AAA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+ and -).
- Close the battery compartment cover securely.
Note: Two AAA batteries are included with the device.
2. Unit Selection (Celsius/Fahrenheit)
To switch between Celsius (ºC) and Fahrenheit (ºF):
- With the thermometer turned off, press and hold the "Mode" button (usually indicated by a person/house icon) for approximately 3 seconds.
- The display will show "F1" or "F2". Press the "Mode" button again to cycle between ºC and ºF.
- Once your desired unit is displayed, press the "Start" button to confirm and exit the setting mode.
Operating Instructions
Body Temperature Measurement
- Ensure the thermometer is in Body Mode (indicated by a person icon on the display). If not, press the "Mode" button to switch.
- Position the thermometer sensor 2-3 cm (0.8-1.2 inches) from the center of the forehead.
- Press the "Start" button.
- The temperature reading will appear on the display within 1 second.
- The backlight color will indicate the temperature status:
- Green: Normal temperature.
- Yellow: Elevated temperature.
- Red: High temperature (fever), accompanied by an audible alarm.

Object/Room Temperature Measurement
- Press the "Mode" button to switch to Object Mode (indicated by a house icon or similar on the display).
- Point the thermometer sensor towards the object or area you wish to measure.
- Press the "Start" button.
- The temperature reading will appear on the display within 1 second.

Memory Recall
The thermometer stores the last 10 measurements. To recall them:
- With the thermometer turned on, press the "Mode" button repeatedly until the memory icon (usually 'M') appears.
- Each subsequent press of the "Mode" button will cycle through the stored readings.
Maintenance and Care
- Cleaning the Sensor: Gently wipe the infrared sensor with a cotton swab or soft cloth moistened with alcohol. Do not use abrasive cleaners.
- Cleaning the Device Body: Wipe the thermometer body with a soft, dry cloth. If necessary, use a cloth slightly dampened with water or mild detergent.
- Storage: Store the thermometer in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
- Battery Replacement: Replace batteries when the low battery indicator appears on the display. Dispose of used batteries according to local regulations.
