3. Setup

3.1 Charging the Device

1. Connect the charging cable to the monitor's charging port.
2. Plug the AC adapter into a standard electrical outlet.
3. The battery indicator on the display will show charging status. Charge fully before first use.

3.2 Attaching the Arm Cuff

1. Ensure the air tube from the cuff is securely connected to the air jack on the side of the monitor.
2. The cuff is designed for arm circumferences between 22-45 cm.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Before Measurement

• Avoid eating, drinking alcohol, smoking, exercising, and bathing for 30 minutes before measurement.
• Rest for at least 5 minutes before taking a measurement.
• Sit in a comfortable position with your back supported and feet flat on the floor.
• Place your arm on a table so the cuff is at heart level.

4.2 Applying the Arm Cuff

1. Slide your arm through the cuff loop.
2. Position the cuff so the air tube runs down the center of your arm, aligned with your middle finger.
3. The bottom edge of the cuff should be approximately 2-3 cm above your elbow.
4. Wrap the cuff snugly around your upper arm, ensuring it is not too tight or too loose.

4.3 Taking a Measurement

1. Press the START/STOP button to turn on the monitor.
2. The cuff will automatically inflate. Remain still and silent during the measurement.
3. Once the measurement is complete, the systolic pressure, diastolic pressure, and pulse rate will be displayed on the large backlit screen.
4. The device will also provide voice transmission of the results.
5. Press the START/STOP button again to turn off the monitor, or it will automatically shut off after a period of inactivity.
