6. Operating Instructions

6.1 Power On/Off

Press and hold the power button on the LED Smart Display to turn the scooter on or off.

6.2 Starting Modes

The MK083 offers two starting modes:

  • Glide Start Mode: Push off with your foot to gain initial momentum (slide for 3 seconds), then the motor will automatically engage at a constant speed.
  • Electric Start Mode: Engage the throttle directly from a standstill.

6.3 Riding

Place one foot on the deck and use the other to push off. Once moving, gently press the throttle to accelerate. Use the brake levers to slow down or stop. The dual braking system (mechanical and EABS regenerative anti-lock) ensures effective stopping power.

7. Charging the Battery

To charge the 36V 10.4Ah (or 48V/15Ah) lithium battery:

  1. Locate the charging port on the scooter.
  2. Ensure the scooter is powered off.
  3. Connect the charger to the charging port, then plug the charger into a standard electrical outlet.
  4. The charging indicator light on the charger will change (e.g., from red to green) when charging is complete.
  5. Charging typically takes 4-5 hours (or up to 6 hours for the 48V/15Ah battery).
  6. Disconnect the charger once fully charged.

The detachable battery design allows for separate charging, prolonging the distance you can travel by swapping batteries.
