4. Setup and Installation

IMPORTANT: Installation must be performed by a professional electrician in accordance with all local and national electrical and plumbing codes.

4.1 Site Selection

  • Choose a location that is protected from freezing temperatures.
  • Ensure adequate clearance around the unit for ventilation and maintenance.
  • The unit is designed for wall mounting and can be installed under sinks or in other suitable indoor locations.

4.2 Electrical Connection

  1. Turn off the main power supply at the circuit breaker before beginning any electrical work.
  2. Ensure a dedicated 50A single-pole circuit breaker is installed for this appliance.
  3. Use 6 AWG (American Wire Gauge) electrical wire for connections.
  4. Connect the electrical wires as follows: Brown wire to Live (L), Blue wire to Neutral (N), and Green/Yellow wire to Ground (GND). Note: Some older instructions may incorrectly state red as hot; always verify with a multimeter if unsure.
  5. Secure all electrical connections tightly.

4.3 Plumbing Connection

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Power On/Off

  • After successful installation and flushing, turn on the power supply at the circuit breaker.
  • Press the ON/OFF button on the touch screen or remote control to activate the unit. The LCD display will illuminate.

5.2 Temperature Adjustment

  • Use the UP (⌃) and DOWN (⌄) buttons on the touch screen or remote control to adjust the desired hot water temperature.
  • The temperature range is 30-55℃ (86-131℉).
  • The LCD display will show the set temperature, current hot water temperature, and inlet water temperature.

5.3 Celsius/Fahrenheit Conversion

  • To switch between Celsius (℃) and Fahrenheit (℉), turn on the water heater, then press and hold the ON/OFF button for a few seconds until the display changes.

5.4 Remote Control Usage

  • The remote control allows for convenient temperature adjustment without needing to touch the unit, which is safer with wet hands.
