5. Setup and Assembly

5.1. Chain Installation/Replacement

Follow these steps to install or replace the chain:

1. Ensure the battery is removed from the chainsaw.
2. Unscrew and remove the sprocket cover.
3. Carefully wrap the chain around the guide bar, ensuring the cutting edges face the correct direction (away from the motor).
4. Place the chain and guide bar onto the chainsaw, fitting the chain into the sprocket.
