6. Maintenance
- Cleaning: Wipe the doorbell's exterior with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
- Battery Charging: The doorbell has a built-in rechargeable battery. When the battery level is low, you will receive a notification via the app. Connect the doorbell to the provided charging cable and a USB power source (e.g., phone charger, computer USB port) to recharge. A full charge takes approximately 1.5 hours.
- Firmware Updates: Periodically check the app for available firmware updates to ensure optimal performance and access to new features.
7. Troubleshooting
- Doorbell not connecting to Wi-Fi: Ensure your Wi-Fi network is 2.4GHz (5GHz is not supported). Check your Wi-Fi password and signal strength. Try moving the doorbell closer to your router during setup.
- No notifications on phone: Check your phone's notification settings for the doorbell app. Ensure the app has permission to send notifications. Verify your phone has an active internet connection.
- Poor video quality: Check your Wi-Fi signal strength. Ensure the camera lens is clean and free from obstructions.
- Chime not ringing: Ensure the chime is plugged into a working power outlet. If it's still not ringing, try re-pairing it with the doorbell (refer to the quick start guide for pairing instructions).
- Battery draining quickly: Frequent live view access, high motion detection sensitivity, or very cold temperatures can affect battery life. Adjust settings in the app if necessary.
