  1. Ensure the iron is unplugged from the mains.
  2. Set the steam control to the 'dry ironing' position (no steam).
  3. Open the water filling inlet cover.
  4. Fill the water tank with tap water up to the 'MAX' indication (250ml capacity). Do not overfill.
  5. Close the water filling inlet cover securely.

5.1 Setting the Temperature

  1. Plug the iron into a grounded wall socket.
  2. Turn the temperature dial to the desired setting according to the fabric type. Refer to the garment care label.
  3. The indicator light will illuminate, indicating the iron is heating up. It will turn off when the set temperature is reached.

6. Maintenance

6.1 Cleaning the Iron

  1. Unplug the iron and allow it to cool down completely.
  2. Wipe the soleplate with a damp cloth and a non-abrasive cleaner if necessary.
  3. Clean the outer casing with a damp cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaning pads.
  4. Empty any remaining water from the tank after each use.

6.2 Calc-Clean Function

Regularly use the Calc-Clean function to remove scale buildup and maintain optimal steam performance. The frequency depends on water hardness and usage.

  1. Fill the water tank to the 'MAX' level.
  2. Set the steam control to 'no steam' and the temperature dial to 'MAX'.
  3. Plug in the iron and wait for the indicator light to turn off.
  4. Unplug the iron.
  5. Hold the iron horizontally over a sink.
  6. Press and hold the Calc-Clean button (if available, otherwise refer to specific model instructions for activation). Shake the iron gently back and forth. Hot water and steam will be expelled from the soleplate, carrying scale particles.
  7. Continue until the water tank is empty.
  8. Plug in the iron again and let it heat up to dry the soleplate.
  9. Unplug and let it cool down. Wipe the soleplate with a damp cloth.
