4. Setup
4.1 Before First Use
- Remove any stickers or protective foil from the soleplate.
- It is recommended to iron an old piece of fabric first to remove any manufacturing residues from the soleplate.
4.2 Filling the Water Tank
- Ensure the iron is unplugged from the mains.
- Set the steam control to the 'dry ironing' position (no steam).
- Open the water filling inlet cover.
- Fill the water tank with tap water up to the 'MAX' indication (250ml capacity). Do not overfill.
- Close the water filling inlet cover securely.
5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Setting the Temperature
- Plug the iron into a grounded wall socket.
- Turn the temperature dial to the desired setting according to the fabric type. Refer to the garment care label.
- The indicator light will illuminate, indicating the iron is heating up. It will turn off when the set temperature is reached.
5.2 Steam Ironing
- Ensure the water tank is filled.

5.3 Dry Ironing

- Fill the water tank to the 'MAX' level.
- Set the steam control to 'no steam' and the temperature dial to 'MAX'.
- Plug in the iron and wait for the indicator light to turn off.
- Unplug the iron.
- Hold the iron horizontally over a sink.
- Press and hold the Calc-Clean button (if available, otherwise refer to specific model instructions for activation). Shake the iron gently back and forth. Hot water and steam will be expelled from the soleplate, carrying scale particles.
- Continue until the water tank is empty.
