3. Setup Guide
Follow these steps to set up your Q22 Digital Mixing USB Live Sound Card.
3.1 Connecting to a Computer

4. Operating Instructions
This section details the functions of the Q22 Sound Card's controls and how to use them for various audio tasks.
4.1 Input Connections (MIC/LINE & HI-Z)
- INPUT 1 (MIC/LINE): This balanced input supports both XLR microphones and 1/4-inch line-level instruments/devices.
- HI-Z INPUT 2 (MIC/LINE): This unbalanced input is optimized for direct connection of high-impedance instruments like electric guitars or basses, as well as microphones and line-level sources.
4.2 Gain Control
Each input (GAIN 1 and GAIN 2) has a dedicated knob to adjust the input level. Rotate clockwise to increase gain and counter-clockwise to decrease. The 'PEAK' indicator lights up when the input signal is too high, indicating potential clipping. Adjust the gain to ensure the 'PEAK' light only flashes occasionally during the loudest parts of your audio.
4.3 Monitoring with Headphones
Connect your headphones to the 'PHONES' jack. Use the 'PHONES' knob to adjust the headphone monitoring volume. This allows you to hear your input signals and playback from your computer without affecting the main output.
4.4 Main Output
The 'MAIN' knob controls the overall output volume of the sound card, typically connected to studio monitors or speakers. Adjust this knob to set the listening level for your audience or recording environment.
4.5 +48V Phantom Power
