Introduction

Safety Information

Setup Instructions

1. Track Assembly:

   Connect the track pieces to form your desired layout. You can create a round or oval track. Ensure all track pieces are securely locked together to prevent derailment. The set includes small black locking pieces for added stability at track connections.

   

   

2. Battery Installation:

   Locate the battery compartment on the underside of the steam engine locomotive. Use a small screwdriver to open the compartment. Insert 4x AA batteries (not included) or the provided rechargeable batteries, ensuring correct polarity. Close the compartment securely.

   

   If rechargeable batteries are included, use the provided charger to fully charge them before first use. Connect the charger to the battery and a suitable power source.

   Video 1: This video demonstrates the battery installation process and how to add water for the steam effect. It also shows the train running on the tracks.

3. Add Water for Steam:

   Using the provided empty water bottle, carefully add clean water into the designated opening behind the chimney of the locomotive. Do not overfill. This will enable the realistic steam effect during operation.

   

4. Connect Carriages:

   Hook the passenger coach, coal car, and cargo vehicle to the steam engine locomotive. Ensure all connections are secure.

5. Place Train on Tracks:

   Carefully place the entire train set onto the assembled tracks. Ensure all wheels are properly aligned with the track grooves. An entrance track piece is included to assist with proper alignment.

6. Scenery Setup:

   Punch out and set up the cardboard scenery pieces around the track to enhance the play experience.

   

Operating Instructions

1. Power On/Off:

   Locate the ON/OFF switch on the top of the locomotive. Slide the switch to the "ON" position to start the train. Slide it to "OFF" to stop the train.

   

2. Sound Effects:

   The train features realistic train sounds. Some models may have a switch to toggle between sound effects and a quieter mode. Refer to the markings on your specific model.

   

3. Lights and Steam:

   Once powered on, the locomotive's headlight will illuminate, and if water has been added, harmless steam will emit from the chimney, simulating a real steam train.

Maintenance

• Wipe the train and tracks with a dry cloth to remove dust and debris. Do not use water or cleaning solutions directly on electrical components.
• Store the train set in a dry place away from direct sunlight when not in use.
• Remove batteries if the train will not be used for an extended period to prevent leakage.
