3. Before First Use

4. Compatible Cookware
The CUSIMAX Induction Cooktop requires cookware with a magnetic bottom to function correctly. If unsuitable cookware is used, the cooktop will display an E0 error and automatically turn off after 60 seconds.

Cookware Diameter:
The diameter of the cookware should be between 4.7 inches (12cm) and 10.2 inches (26cm) for optimal performance.
How to Test Cookware:
Place a magnet on the bottom of your pot or pan. If the magnet sticks firmly, the cookware is suitable for induction cooking.

5. Operating Instructions
- Power On: Place suitable magnetic cookware with contents on the center of the ceramic glass surface. Plug the cooktop into a power outlet. Press the ON/OFF button. The display will light up.
- Select Mode (Power/Temperature): After turning on, the cooktop defaults to a power setting. Press the Select button to switch between Power (W) and Temperature (°F) modes.
- Adjust Settings:
- In Power mode, use the + or - buttons to adjust power from 200W to 1800W.
- In Temperature mode, use the + or - buttons to adjust temperature from 140°F to 464°F.
- Use the Min or Max buttons for quick selection of minimum or maximum settings.
- Set Timer: Press the Select button until the timer indicator lights up. Use the + or - buttons to set the desired cooking time (up to 3 hours). The timer adjusts in 5-minute increments. Once the timer expires, the cooktop will automatically shut off.
- Child Safety Lock: To activate the child lock, press and hold the Child Lock button (often indicated by a lock icon) for a few seconds until the lock indicator appears. This will disable all other control panel functions. To deactivate, press and hold the Child Lock button again.
- Power Off: After cooking, press the ON/OFF button to turn off the cooktop. The cooling fan may continue to run for a few minutes to dissipate residual heat.
6. Cleaning and Maintenance
Proper cleaning and maintenance will extend the life of your CUSIMAX Induction Cooktop.
- Always unplug the cooktop from the power outlet and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
- Ceramic Glass Surface: Wipe with a damp cloth and a mild detergent. For stubborn stains, use a non-abrasive ceramic cooktop cleaner. Do not use abrasive pads, scouring powders, or harsh chemicals.
- Control Panel and Base: Wipe with a soft, damp cloth. Ensure no water enters the internal components.
- Air Vents: Periodically check and clean the air vents to ensure they are free from dust and debris, which can impede cooling.
