4. Setup and Installation
Follow these steps for proper setup and connection of your XY-SK60 module:
- Connect Input Power: Connect the DC input power supply to the VIN+ and VIN- terminals. Ensure the input voltage is within the specified range of DC 6V-36V.
- Set Output Parameters: Before connecting any load, set the desired output voltage and constant current limits using the module's controls.
- Configure Other Parameters: Adjust any other required parameters such as protection thresholds (e.g., over-voltage, over-current) as per your application needs.
- Disconnect Power: Temporarily remove the work power supply after configuration.
- Connect Load: Connect your load device to the OUT+ and OUT- terminals.
- Re-apply Power: Re-connect the input power supply to begin operation.
The module also supports connection to an XY-K485X module for 485 bus control or a WiFi module for remote control via APP/web. An external 10k NTC 3905B temperature sensor can be connected to the NTC interface for temperature monitoring and control.

5. Operating Instructions
The XY-SK60 module features an intuitive LCD display and control knobs/buttons for easy operation.
- Voltage Setting (VSET): Use the VSET button and rotary encoder to adjust the output voltage.
- Current Setting (ISET): Use the ISET button and rotary encoder to set the constant current limit.
- Output ON/OFF (SW): The SW button controls the output enable/disable function.
- Display Information: The LCD shows real-time output voltage, current, and power.
- MPPT Function: When used for solar charging, ensure the MPPT function is enabled. Connect the external temperature probe if using for battery charging to support over-temperature protection.

6. Safety Precautions
Failure to observe these precautions may result in damage to the module or connected devices, or personal injury.
- This is a DC power module; do not connect it to AC power.
- Ensure the input power supply capacity is greater than the load power requirement.
- If the module becomes hot during operation, reduce the output power to prevent overheating.
- Always read and understand this user manual and product description before use.
- This product does not have output reverse connection protection. Reversing the positive and negative terminals of the battery or load will damage the device.
- Battery charging requires specific professional knowledge. Non-professionals should not attempt to charge batteries directly to prevent fire and explosion hazards.
7. Maintenance
The XY-SK60 module is designed for reliable operation with minimal maintenance. To ensure longevity and optimal performance:
- Keep the module clean and free from dust and debris. Use a soft, dry cloth for cleaning.
- Ensure adequate ventilation around the module, especially when operating at higher power levels, to prevent heat buildup.
- Avoid exposing the module to extreme temperatures, high humidity, or corrosive environments.
- Regularly check all connections for tightness and ensure no wires are frayed or damaged.

8. Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your XY-SK60 module, consider the following common troubleshooting steps:
- No Output/Incorrect Voltage:
- Check input voltage: Ensure it is within the 6V-36V range and stable.
- Verify connections: Confirm all input and output wires are correctly connected and secure.
- Check output enable: Ensure the output is turned ON via the SW button.
- Review settings: Confirm output voltage and current limits are set correctly and not triggering protection.
- Module Overheating:
- Reduce load: Decrease the output current or power.
- Improve ventilation: Ensure adequate airflow around the module.
- Check ambient temperature: Operate within the specified temperature range (-20℃~85℃).
- Protection Triggered (e.g., OVP, OCP, OPP, OTP):
- Identify the triggered protection indicated on the display.
- Adjust load or input conditions to fall within the set protection limits.
- Reset the module by cycling power if necessary, after resolving the cause.
- Display Issues:
- Ensure stable input power.
- If the display is blank or erratic, disconnect power, wait a few minutes, and reconnect.
