4. Setup
4.1 Charging the Speaker
Before first use, fully charge the speaker. Connect the provided USB charging cable to the speaker's charging port and a compatible USB power adapter (not included). The charging indicator light will show the charging status and turn off when fully charged.
4.2 Power On/Off
- To Power On: Press and hold the Power button for approximately 2-3 seconds until you hear an audible prompt and the indicator lights illuminate.
- To Power Off: Press and hold the Power button for approximately 2-3 seconds until you hear an audible prompt and the indicator lights turn off.
4.3 Bluetooth Pairing
- Ensure the speaker is powered on and in Bluetooth pairing mode (indicated by a flashing blue light).
- On your device (smartphone, tablet, etc.), enable Bluetooth and search for available devices.
- Select "Oraimo Rover OBS-53D" from the list of devices.
- Once connected, you will hear a confirmation sound, and the Bluetooth indicator light will remain solid blue.
4.4 True Wireless Stereo (TWS) Pairing
To pair two Oraimo Rover OBS-53D speakers for TWS:
- Ensure both speakers are powered on and not connected to any other Bluetooth device.
- On one speaker (this will be the primary speaker), double-press the TWS button (usually indicated by a chain link icon or similar). The speaker will enter TWS pairing mode.
- The primary speaker will automatically search for and connect to the secondary speaker.
- Once connected, you will hear a confirmation sound, and the indicator lights on both speakers will synchronize.
- Now, connect your device to the primary speaker via Bluetooth as described in section 4.3. Audio will play through both speakers in stereo.
5. Operating the Speaker
5.1 Basic Controls
- Volume Up: Short press the '+' button.
- Volume Down: Short press the '-' button.
- Play/Pause: Short press the Play/Pause button.
- Next Track: Long press the '+' button.
- Previous Track: Long press the '-' button.
5.2 Mode Switching
Press the 'M' (Mode) button to cycle through available modes: Bluetooth, FM Radio, and AUX (if an AUX cable is connected).
5.3 FM Radio Operation
- Switch to FM mode using the 'M' button.
- Long press the Play/Pause button to auto-scan and save available FM stations.
- Short press the '+' or '-' buttons to navigate between saved stations.
5.4 Light Mode Control
Press the Light button (often indicated by a lightbulb icon) to cycle through the 5 different RGB light modes or to turn the lights off.
6. Maintenance
6.1 Cleaning
Wipe the speaker with a soft, dry, lint-free cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners, alcohol, or chemical solvents, as these may damage the surface.
6.2 Storage
When not in use for extended periods, store the speaker in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. It is recommended to charge the speaker at least once every three months to maintain battery health.
