1. Introduction and Overview
This OBET wireless thermometer provides accurate real-time temperature and humidity readings for both indoor and outdoor environments. It features a stable signal transmission system with three remote sensors, offering a long range of up to 500 feet (150 meters). The main unit displays inside and outside temperature and humidity, along with air comfort indicators, Min/Max data, and trend displays. The adjustable backlight ensures clear visibility in various lighting conditions.

The main display unit shows indoor and outdoor temperature and humidity readings, accompanied by three white remote sensors.
2. Setup
2.1 Powering the Main Unit
The main unit can be powered via the included USB cable for continuous backlight or by 3 AAA batteries (not included) for backup power. When running on battery power, the backlight turns off after 10 seconds to conserve energy.
2.2 Powering the Remote Sensors
Each remote sensor requires 2 AA batteries (not included). Ensure batteries are inserted correctly into the battery compartment.

This image illustrates the power options: the main unit can be powered by USB or 3 AAA batteries, and each sensor requires 2 AA batteries. Note: Batteries are not included.
2.3 Pairing and Placement
The sensors are pre-configured. To ensure proper connection, place the main unit and sensors within range. The main unit will display signal strength indicators for each connected sensor. Place the main unit indoors. Remote sensors are weatherproof but should be placed out of direct sunlight for more accurate temperature readings. They can be placed in various locations such as an RV, living room, bedroom, garage, incubator, or garden.
This video demonstrates the unboxing and basic setup of the OBET Indoor Outdoor Thermometer, showing the main unit and remote sensors.

Images depict remote sensors placed in a living room (CH1), a baby's room (CH2), and an outdoor patio (CH3), highlighting the 500ft (150m) wireless transmission range.
3. Operating Instructions
3.1 Display Overview
The digital screen clearly displays indoor and outdoor temperature and humidity. It includes 3 Air Comfort Indicators (Dry, Comfort, Wet) and shows temperature in °C/°F, Min/Max data, and trend displays.

The main unit's display features three emoji-like icons indicating air comfort levels: a sad face for Dry (humidity <40%), a happy face for Comfort (humidity 40%-70%), and a frowning face for Wet (humidity >70%).
3.2 Adjustable Backlight
When connected via USB, the backlight stays on continuously with 3 adjustable brightness levels (high, low, off). On battery power, it turns off after 10 seconds to conserve energy. Touch the 'Light' button on the top of the main unit to adjust brightness or activate the backlight.

The main unit is shown connected to a USB power source, illustrating how the backlight can be set to high, low, or off for continuous illumination. A finger is shown touching the light button on top.
3.3 Temperature Units and Data
Switch between Celsius (°C) and Fahrenheit (°F) using the appropriate button on the back of the main unit. The unit records and stores maximum and minimum temperature and humidity values over 24 hours. Use the 'RECORD' button to view this data. Arrows next to temperature and humidity readings indicate rising, falling, or constant trends.

A graphic representation of the thermometer's advanced sensor technology, detailing indoor temperature range (14.2°F to 122°F), outdoor temperature range (-50°F to 158°F), temperature accuracy (+/-1.8°F), and humidity accuracy (+/-5%).

The main unit is shown on a desk, while a remote sensor is mounted on a door frame, emphasizing the stable signal and 500ft transmission range with updates every 30 seconds.
4. Maintenance
Keep the main unit and sensors clean by wiping with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or solvents. Ensure battery compartments are dry and free of corrosion. Replace batteries when the low battery indicator appears on the display.
5. Troubleshooting
5.1 No Reading/Signal Loss
Ensure sensors are within the 500ft (150m) range of the main unit. Check battery levels in both the main unit and sensors. Reposition sensors to avoid obstructions or interference. Re-sync sensors if necessary (refer to the included instruction manual for specific re-sync steps).
5.2 Inaccurate Readings
Ensure sensors are placed out of direct sunlight and away from heat sources or vents. Allow time for readings to stabilize after initial setup or relocation.
