1. Important Safety Instructions

Read all safety warnings, instructions, illustrations, and specifications provided with this power tool. Failure to follow all instructions listed below may result in electric shock, fire, and/or serious injury.

    • Keep all parts of the body away from the saw chain when the chainsaw is operating.

3. Setup

3.1 Battery Charging

  1. Insert the 21V lithium battery into the provided charger.
  2. Plug the charger into a standard wall outlet.
  3. Allow approximately 2-3 hours for a full charge. The battery features an indicator light to show charging status.
  4. Ensure batteries are fully charged before first use for optimal performance.

3.2 Chain and Guide Bar Installation (if not pre-installed)

The chainsaw typically comes with the chain and guide bar pre-installed. If replacement is necessary, follow these steps:

  1. Ensure the battery is removed from the chainsaw.
  2. Using the provided screwdriver, loosen the side cover screws and remove the side cover.
  3. Carefully place the chain around the guide bar, ensuring the cutting teeth are facing the correct direction (refer to the diagram in the printed manual).
  4. Align the chain and guide bar with the sprocket and guide bar slot on the chainsaw body.
  5. Replace the side cover and lightly tighten the screws.
  6. Adjust the chain tension using the tensioning screw until the chain is snug but can still be moved freely by hand. Do not overtighten.
  7. Fully tighten the side cover screws.

3.3 Lubrication System Setup

The chainsaw features an automatic chain lubrication system. Fill the oil bottle with universal motor oil (not included) and pour it into the chainsaw's oil tank.

4. Operation

4.1 Pre-Operation Checklist

  • Ensure batteries are fully charged.
  • Verify chain tension is correct.
  • Check oil level in the lubrication tank.
  • Wear all personal protective equipment: safety goggles, gloves, and appropriate clothing.
  • Clear the work area of any obstructions or bystanders.

4.2 Starting the Chainsaw

  1. Insert a charged battery into the chainsaw.
  2. To start the chainsaw, simultaneously press the safety lock button and the trigger switch.
  3. Release the trigger switch to stop the chainsaw.

4.3 Cutting Techniques

  • Hold the chainsaw firmly with both hands.
  • Begin cutting with the bottom edge of the guide bar.
  • Apply steady, even pressure. Do not force the saw through the wood.
  • Be mindful of the cutting direction and potential kickback.
  • For larger branches, make an undercut first to prevent pinching.

5. Maintenance

5.1 Chain Sharpening and Replacement

  • Regularly inspect the chain for dullness or damage. A dull chain will reduce cutting efficiency and increase strain on the motor.
  • Sharpen the chain as needed using a suitable chain saw file (not included) or replace it with a new chain from the provided spares.
  • Refer to the "Chain and Guide Bar Installation" section for replacement instructions.

5.2 Lubrication

  • Ensure the oil tank is filled with universal motor oil before each use.
  • The automatic lubrication system will dispense oil during operation. Periodically press the manual oil filling chain button to ensure adequate lubrication, especially during extended use.

5.3 Cleaning and Storage

  • After each use, remove the battery and clean the chainsaw.
  • Use the provided brush to remove sawdust and debris from the chain, guide bar, and motor housing.
  • Store the chainsaw in its protective case in a dry, secure location, away from children and unauthorized users.
  • Store batteries in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.

6. Troubleshooting
