2. Setup and Installation

Before beginning installation, ensure all power is disconnected at the main circuit breaker to prevent electrical shock. Verify power is off using a voltage tester. The Zelinhol Sump Control Panel is designed for straightforward installation, but professional assistance is recommended for complex setups.

2.1. Wiring Instructions

Follow the steps below for proper wiring. Refer to the internal wiring diagram inside the control panel for detailed connections.

2.1.1. Power Supply Wiring (Left Cable Gland)

Feed the power cable through the LEFT cable gland. Connect the wires according to the color code:

• BLACK wire: Connect to the [L1] terminal (Live Wire).
• WHITE wire: Connect to the [N] terminal (Neutral Wire).
• GREEN wire: Connect to the GROUND BUSBAR (copper strip) (Earth Wire).

2.1.2. Pump Motor Wiring (Center Cable Gland)

Feed the pump cable through the CENTER cable gland. Connect the wires as follows:

• BLACK wire: Connect to the [P1] terminal.
• WHITE wire: Connect to the [N] terminal.
• GREEN wire: Connect to the GROUND BUSBAR.

2.1.3. Float Switch Wiring (Right Cable Gland)

Feed the float switch cable through the RIGHT cable gland. Ensure the float weight orientation is correct for desired operation (e.g., normally open or normally closed). Connect the wires:

• BLACK wire: Connect to the [3] terminal.
• BROWN wire: Connect to the [4] terminal.
• BLUE wire: Connect to the [5] terminal.

After all wiring is complete, securely close the control panel cover.

3. Operation

3.1. Testing the Alarm

To test the alarm function:

1. Ensure the main power is connected to the control panel.
2. Turn the switch on the control panel to the "TEST" position. The alarm light should illuminate, and the 110-decibel alarm should sound.
3. Turn the switch back to the "RUN" position to deactivate the test alarm.

3.2. Understanding Working Modes

The Zelinhol Sump Control Panel supports multiple working modes based on your setup:

• Mode 1: Connect the float switch only. The panel will provide high-water level alarming.
• Mode 2: External submersible pump only. The panel can control an external pump for drainage.
• Mode 3: Connect the float switch and external water pump. The panel will provide high-water level alarming and can automatically start the external pump for drainage when the water level reaches the preset alarm line.

To activate the pump motor power circuit breaker, ensure the switch is in the "RUN" position and the circuit breaker is in the "ON" position. The float switch will then control the pump operation based on water levels.

For optimal performance, install the float switch at the desired water level. The float weight can be adjusted to set the activation point.

4. Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and reliable operation of your Zelinhol Sump Control Panel.

• Monthly Inspection: Visually inspect the control panel and float switch for any signs of damage, wear, or corrosion.
• Functionality Test: Periodically test the alarm function as described in Section 3.1 to ensure it is working correctly.
