Introduction

The Xiaomi WiFi Range Extender N300 is designed to expand your existing wireless network coverage, eliminating Wi-Fi dead zones in your home or office. It connects wirelessly to your router, strengthening and extending its signal to hard-to-reach areas. This device supports up to 16 connected devices simultaneously, providing reliable and high-speed internet access for various devices such as laptops, tablets, smartphones, and smart TVs.

Setup

  1. Power On: Plug the Xiaomi WiFi Range Extender N300 into a wall socket near your existing Wi-Fi router. Ensure the power outlet is functioning correctly.
  2. Wait for Indicator Light: Wait for the indicator light on the front of the extender to flicker yellow. This indicates that the device is powered on and ready for configuration.
  3. Install Mi Home App: Download and install the Mi Home app on your smartphone or tablet. The app is available for both Android and iOS devices.
  4. Add Device: Open the Mi Home app, log in or create a Xiaomi account. Tap the "Add device" or "+" icon to search for new devices. The app should automatically detect the Xiaomi WiFi Range Extender N300.
  5. Configure Network: Follow the on-screen prompts in the Mi Home app to connect the extender to your existing Wi-Fi network. You will need to select your Wi-Fi network and enter its password.
  6. Placement: Once configured, you can unplug the extender and move it to a location between your router and the area with poor Wi-Fi coverage. Ensure the indicator light turns blue, signifying a strong connection to your router. If it remains yellow or red, move it closer to the router.
