3. Setup

3.1. Charging the Device

Before first use, fully charge the voice amplifier and the wireless microphone headset. Use the provided Type-C charging cable.

1. Connect the Type-C end of the charging cable to the charging port on the main unit.
2. Connect the other end to a standard USB power adapter (not included).
3. The LED screen will indicate charging status. A full charge typically takes 3-5 hours.
4. For the wireless microphone, connect its charging port to a USB power source using the provided cable. The indicator light will show charging status.

3.2. Connecting the Wireless Microphone

1. Turn on the voice amplifier by pressing the Power/Volume knob.
2. Turn on the wireless microphone headset.
3. The microphone and amplifier should automatically pair. If not, press the "Pair Key" on the microphone and ensure the amplifier is in pairing mode (refer to the amplifier's LED screen).
4. Adjust the microphone volume using the "MIC VOL +" and "MIC VOL -" controls on the amplifier.

3.3. Wearing the Microphone

Position the headset microphone comfortably on your head, ensuring the microphone capsule is close to your mouth (approximately 1-2 cm) for optimal sound pickup.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1. Basic Operation

• Power On/Off: Rotate the main volume knob clockwise to turn on, counter-clockwise to turn off.
• Volume Adjustment: Rotate the main volume knob to increase or decrease the overall output volume.
• Microphone Volume: Use the "MIC VOL +" and "MIC VOL -" buttons on the microphone or amplifier to adjust microphone input volume.
• Echo Adjustment: Use the "ECHO +" and "ECHO -" controls to add or remove echo effect (if available on your model).

4.2. Bluetooth Connectivity

1. Turn on the amplifier. The LED screen will show "Bluetooth" mode or you can switch to it using the "Switch mode" button.
2. On your mobile device (smartphone, tablet, etc.), enable Bluetooth and search for "S98".
3. Select "S98" to pair. Once connected, the amplifier will indicate successful pairing.
4. You can now play audio from your device through the amplifier.

4.3. Using Other Input Modes (USB/TF Card/AUX)

• USB/TF Card: Insert a USB drive or TF card into the respective port. The amplifier will automatically switch to the corresponding mode and play audio files. Use "Next" and "Previous" buttons to navigate tracks.
• AUX Input: Connect an external audio device (e.g., MP3 player, computer) to the AUX port using the provided audio cable. Switch the amplifier to AUX mode.
• Guitar/Wired Mic Input: Connect a guitar or a wired microphone to the designated ports (MIC1/MIC2/Guitar Port) for direct amplification.

5. Maintenance

• Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the surface of the device. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
• Storage: Store the amplifier in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
• Battery Care: To prolong battery life, avoid fully discharging the battery frequently. Charge the device regularly, even if not in use for extended periods (e.g., once every 3 months).
• Handling: Handle the device with care to prevent drops or impacts that could damage internal components.
