5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Using the Drop Leaf Countertop

1. To Extend: Gently lift the drop leaf section of the countertop until it is level with the main countertop. Engage the support brackets underneath to secure it in place.
2. To Fold Down: Disengage the support brackets. Carefully lower the drop leaf section until it hangs vertically against the side of the cart.

5.2 Using the Tilt-out Trash Can

1. To Open: Pull the handle on the front panel of the tilt-out compartment. The panel will tilt forward and down, revealing the interior bin.
2. To Close: Push the front panel back into the cart until it is flush with the cabinet doors. Ensure it is securely closed to contain odors.
3. Inserting/Removing Bin: Place a compatible 3-gallon or 9-gallon folding canvas trash bin inside the compartment.

5.3 Using the Wheels and Locks

1. To Move: Ensure all 4 wheel locks are disengaged (lever in the 'OFF' position). Gently push the cart to its desired location.
2. To Secure: Once the cart is in position, push the lever on each of the 4 lockable wheels to the 'ON' position to prevent movement.

5.4 Adjusting Shelves

1. To Adjust: Empty the cabinet. Remove the shelf by lifting it off its support pegs.
2. Reposition: Insert the support pegs into the desired holes on the cabinet sides. Place the shelf onto the pegs, ensuring it is level and secure.
