2. What's in the Box

3. Setup
Follow these steps to prepare your DEEBOT X1 PLUS for its first use:
- Place the Auto Empty Station: Select a location for the Auto Empty Station against a wall, ensuring there is adequate space around it (approximately 0.5 meters to the sides and 1.5 meters in front). Ensure the area is free from clutter, heat sources, and water.
- Connect to Power: Plug the power cord into the Auto Empty Station and then into a wall outlet. Ensure the station is receiving power.
- Charge the DEEBOT: Place the DEEBOT onto the charging contacts of the Auto Empty Station. The robot will automatically begin charging. Allow it to fully charge before the first use.
- Download the ECOVACS HOME App: Scan the QR code in the quick start guide or search for 'ECOVACS HOME' in your app store to download and install the application.
- Connect to Wi-Fi: Follow the in-app instructions to connect your DEEBOT to your home Wi-Fi network. This enables smart control features.
- Install Mop Pads: If you intend to use the mopping function, attach the mopping pad to the bottom of the DEEBOT as instructed in the app or quick start guide.
