5. Installation (Setup)
The installation process is designed to be straightforward with commonly available tools. Refer to the detailed installation diagram and follow the steps carefully.
5.1 Pre-Installation Checks
- Ensure your gate is structurally sound and swings freely without obstruction.
- Confirm the gate dimensions and weight are within the opener's specifications.
- It is highly recommended to fully charge the included 12V batteries before the first use of the system.
5.2 Component Placement and Wiring

- Mount the Gate Opener Arms: Securely attach the gate opener arms to your gate and gate posts using the provided brackets and hardware. Ensure proper alignment for smooth gate movement. The system supports both pull-to-open and push-to-open configurations.
- Install the Solar Panel: Mount the 30W solar panel in a location that receives maximum direct sunlight throughout the day. Angle it appropriately for your geographical location.
- Connect Batteries and Solar Panel to Control Box: Place the two 12V7Ah batteries inside the control box. Connect the solar panel to the solar charge controller (located within the control box) and then connect the batteries to the controller as per the wiring diagram.
- Install the DS-02 Electric Gate Lock: Mount the DS-02 automatic electric gate lock to provide additional security and stability, especially for gates longer than 7 feet (1.5 meters). Connect its wiring to the control box as instructed. The lock features three rolling teeth for smooth latching and a waterproof, anti-corrosion surface for durability.

- Connect Gate Opener Arms to Control Box: Wire the gate opener motors to the control box according to the provided diagram.
- Final Checks: Double-check all connections and ensure all components are securely fastened.

6. Operating Instructions
Your JUJIANG gate opener system is designed for user-friendly operation.
6.1 Remote Control Operation

- The remote controls have a maximum operating distance of up to 100 feet.
- Press the '1' key to control Motor 1 (typically the primary gate leaf).
- Press the '2' key to control both Motor 1 and Motor 2 (for dual gate operation).
- The system supports up to 120 remote controls.

6.2 DS-02 Electric Gate Lock Operation
The DS-02 electric gate lock operates automatically in conjunction with the gate opener. It will lock when the gate is closed and unlock when the gate opener is activated to open the gate. This provides an additional layer of security and gate stability, especially in windy conditions.

6.3 Manual Release
In case of power outage or system malfunction, use the provided manual release key to disengage the gate opener mechanism, allowing you to open and close the gate manually.
