  • Read all instructions before using this heater.
  • This heater is hot when in use. To avoid burns, do not let bare skin touch hot surfaces. Keep combustible materials, such as furniture, pillows, bedding, papers, clothes, and curtains at least 3 feet (0.9 m) from the front of the heater and keep them away from the sides and rear.
  • Extreme caution is necessary when any heater is used by or near children or invalids and whenever the heater is left operating and unattended.
  • Do not operate any heater with a damaged cord or plug or after the heater malfunctions, has been dropped or damaged in any manner. Discard heater or return to authorized service facility for examination and/or repair.
  • Do not run cord under carpeting. Do not cover cord with throw rugs, runners, or similar coverings. Arrange cord away from traffic area and where it will not be tripped over.
  • To disconnect heater, turn controls to OFF, then remove plug from outlet.
  • Do not insert or allow foreign objects to enter any ventilation or exhaust opening as this may cause an electric shock or fire, or damage the heater.
  • To prevent a possible fire, do not block air intakes or exhaust in any manner. Do not use on soft surfaces, like a bed, where openings may become blocked.

The HOMCOM Electric Fireplace Stove requires minimal assembly. Follow these steps to prepare your unit for use.

  1. Unpack the Unit: Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Retain packaging for future storage or transport.
  2. Attach the Legs: Turn the main fireplace unit upside down on a soft, non-abrasive surface to prevent scratching. Align each of the four legs with the designated mounting points on the bottom of the fireplace. Secure each leg using the provided screws and a Philips head screwdriver. Ensure all legs are firmly attached.
  3. Position the Fireplace: Once the legs are securely attached, carefully turn the unit upright. Place the fireplace on a flat, stable surface, away from combustible materials and in a location where the power cord can reach a grounded electrical outlet without being stretched or obstructed.

Operating Instructions

Familiarize yourself with the controls to operate your electric fireplace stove.

  1. Power Connection: Plug the power cord into a standard 120V AC grounded electrical outlet.
  2. Main Power Switch: Locate the main ON/OFF switch, usually on the side or back of the unit. Slide it to the "ON" position.
  3. Flame Effect: The flame effect can be operated independently of the heating function. To activate the flame effect, press the designated flame button or switch (often labeled with a light bulb icon or "I").
  4. Heat Settings: Your fireplace offers two heat settings:
    • Low Heat (750W): Press the "I" button or switch to activate the low heat setting.
    • High Heat (1500W): Press the "II" button or switch to activate the high heat setting. If both "I" and "II" are pressed, the unit will operate at 1500W.
  5. Adjusting Temperature: Some models may include a thermostat dial to adjust the desired room temperature. Turn the dial clockwise to increase the temperature and counter-clockwise to decrease it. The heater will cycle on and off to maintain the set temperature.
  6. Shutting Down: To turn off the heater, first switch off the heat settings ("I" and "II" buttons/switches) and the flame effect. Then, slide the main ON/OFF switch to the "OFF" position and unplug the unit from the wall outlet when not in use for extended periods.
