4.1 Connecting the Phone
- Connect the Handset: Plug one end of the handset cord into the handset port on the phone base and the other end into the handset.
- Connect to Network (PoE):
- Connect one end of the Ethernet cable to the Internet port on the phone.
- Connect the other end of the Ethernet cable to a Power over Ethernet (PoE) enabled switch or hub. The phone will power on automatically.
- (Optional) Connect USB Headset: If using a USB headset, plug it into the USB Type-A port on the phone.
Important: This model does not include a power adapter. Ensure your network infrastructure supports PoE for proper operation.
4.2 Initial Boot-up and Configuration
Upon first boot-up, the phone will display the Yealink logo and then proceed to load the Android 13 operating system and Microsoft Teams application. This process may take a few minutes.
- Network Connection: The phone will attempt to obtain an IP address via DHCP. If successful, it will connect to your network.
