Setup

Operating Instructions

1. Identifying Your Hair Texture

The T3 StyleMax features custom heat automation. To optimize performance, first identify your hair texture:

• Fine Hair: Can you barely feel and see the strand?
• Medium Hair: Can you easily feel the strand and does it glide smoothly through your fingers?
• Coarse Hair: Does the strand feel thick and textured as it runs through your fingers?

2. Selecting Heat Settings and Mode

1. Power On: Press and hold the power button until the lights illuminate.
2. Select Hair Texture: Use the dedicated hair texture button (indicated by three wavy lines) to cycle through fine, medium, or coarse settings. The device will auto-adjust heat based on this selection.
3. Adjust Heat (Optional): The device offers 9 heat settings. If further adjustment is desired, use the heat setting indicators (dots) to fine-tune the temperature.
4. Activate Curl Mode (for Waving/Curling): Tap the Curl Mode button (indicated by a spiral icon) to optimize temperature for creating waves and curls.

3. Styling Your Hair

Ensure hair is clean, dry, and detangled before styling. For best results, apply a heat protectant.

• Section Hair: Divide your hair into 1-2 inch sections. Secure unstyled hair with clips.
• Straightening: Clamp a section of hair between the plates near the roots. Glide the flat iron slowly and steadily from root to tip. Repeat if necessary, but the SinglePass technology is designed for efficiency.
• Waving/Curling: For waves, clamp a section of hair, rotate the iron 180 degrees, and glide slowly through the hair. For tighter curls, rotate the iron further or use smaller sections.

Maintenance and Care

• Cleaning: Ensure the flat iron is unplugged and completely cool before cleaning. Wipe the ceramic plates and exterior with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or immerse the appliance in water.
