4. Setup

4.1 Battery Installation

  1. Locate the battery compartment on the back of the remote control.
  2. Slide open the battery compartment cover.
  3. Insert two (2) AAA batteries, ensuring the positive (+) and negative (-) terminals match the diagrams inside the compartment.
  4. Close the battery compartment cover securely.

Note: The remote control does not require any programming. Once batteries are installed, it is ready for use with compatible Sharp AQUOS LCD TVs.

5. Operating Instructions

Point the remote control directly at the infrared receiver on your Sharp AQUOS LCD TV. Ensure there are no obstructions between the remote and the TV.

  • TELETEXT, SUBTITLE, SIZE, SUBPAGE, INDEX, HOLD, REVEAL, FREEZE: Functions related to Teletext and advanced display options, depending on TV model support.
  • Media Control Buttons (⏮︎, ⏹︎, ⏯︎, ⏭︎): Play, Pause, Stop, Fast Forward, Rewind for media playback (if supported by TV).

6. Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the remote control. Do not use liquid cleaners or abrasive materials.
  • Battery Replacement: Replace batteries when the remote's response becomes sluggish or stops working. Always replace both batteries at the same time with new ones of the same type.
