1. Introduction and Overview

3. Setup

3.1 Filling the Grinders

1. Twist the top section of the grinder counter-clockwise to detach it from the transparent container.
2. Using the provided funnel, carefully pour your desired whole spices (e.g., peppercorns, coarse salt) into the transparent container. The container has a 3.5 oz capacity.
3. Align the top section with the container and twist clockwise to securely reattach it. Ensure it is locked to prevent spills.

3.2 Charging the Grinders

The grinders are equipped with a 300mAh rechargeable battery. For optimal performance, fully charge the grinders before first use.

1. Place the grinders onto the transparent charging base.
2. Connect the USB-C charging cables to the ports on the back of each grinder and plug the other end into a compatible USB power source (e.g., wall adapter, computer USB port).
3. The LED indicator light on the grinder will illuminate during charging and turn off when fully charged. A full charge typically takes less than 2 hours.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Powering On/Off and Grinding

To operate the grinder, simply press and hold the power button located on the top of the unit. The grinder will begin to operate, and a bright white LED light will illuminate the grinding area for precise seasoning. Release the button to stop grinding.

4.2 Adjusting Coarseness

The grinder features an external coarseness adjustment mechanism with six settings. To adjust, simply rotate the grinding head at the bottom of the grinder. Rotate towards the smaller dots for a finer grind and towards the larger dots for a coarser grind.

4.3 2-Speed Grinding

The FORLIM grinder offers two grinding speeds: High (H) and Low (L). Use the switch on the top of the grinder to select your desired speed.

• High Speed (H): Ideal for quickly grinding pepper for cooking.
• Low Speed (L): Suitable for precise seasoning with salt or other spices requiring a finer, more controlled output.

5. Maintenance

5.1 Cleaning the Container and Base

The transparent container and the charging base are washable. To clean:

1. Ensure the grinder is empty of spices.
2. Detach the transparent container from the main body.
3. Hand wash the transparent container and the charging base with water and mild soap.
4. Important: Do NOT wash the main body of the grinder (the top aluminum alloy part) as it contains electronic components and the motor. Getting this part wet will damage the device.
5. After washing, thoroughly dry the container and base. It is recommended to air dry them completely, ideally for a full day, before refilling or reassembling to prevent moisture from affecting spices or components.

6. Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your FORLIM Electric Salt and Pepper Grinder Set, please refer to the following common troubleshooting steps:

• Grinder not operating: Ensure the grinder is fully charged. Check that the top section is securely twisted and locked onto the transparent container.
• Inconsistent grinding: Verify that the coarseness adjustment is set correctly for your desired grind. Ensure the spice container is not overfilled or underfilled.
• No LED light: The LED light activates only when the grinding button is pressed and the motor is running. If the motor runs but the light does not, ensure the grinder is charged. If the issue persists, contact customer support.
• Spices not dispensing: Check for any blockages in the grinding mechanism. Ensure the spice container is not empty.
