2. Setup
2.1 Package Contents
Before proceeding, ensure all components are present in your package:

- USB Charging Cable

2.2 Charging the Battery
The Firefly Q6 has a built-in 700mAh battery. For optimal performance, fully charge the camera before first use.
- Connect the camera to a 5V 1A USB power source (e.g., computer USB port or wall adapter) using the provided USB cable.
- The charging indicator light will illuminate.
- Once fully charged, the indicator light will change or turn off (refer to camera's OLED screen for battery status).
Note: Charging time may vary depending on the power source.
2.3 Inserting a MicroSD Card
A MicroSD (TF) card (not included) is required to store recordings. The camera supports cards up to 32GB, Class 10 or higher is recommended.
- Locate the MicroSD card slot on the camera.
- Gently insert the MicroSD card with the gold contacts facing down (or as indicated by the camera's slot diagram) until it clicks into place.
- To remove, gently push the card in again until it springs out.

3. Operating the Camera
3.1 Powering On/Off
- Power On: Press and hold the Power button (usually marked with a circle or 'M') for a few seconds until the OLED screen illuminates.
- Power Off: Press and hold the Power button again until the screen turns off.
3.2 Navigating the Menu

- 720P (1280 x 720) at 120fps
- VGA (640 x 480) at 30fps
- Ensure the camera is in Video Mode.
- Press the Shutter/OK button to start recording. A recording indicator (e.g., flashing light or on-screen icon) will appear.
- Press the Shutter/OK button again to stop recording.
Tip: For fast-paced action, higher frame rates (e.g., 120fps) provide smoother slow-motion playback.
3.4 Photo Capture
The camera supports image resolutions up to 16M.
- Switch to Photo Mode using the Mode button.
- Frame your shot using the OLED screen.
- Press the Shutter/OK button to take a photo.
3.5 Advanced Settings
Access the camera's settings menu to adjust parameters such as:
- Time-lapse: Off, 0.5s, 3s, 5s, 10s, 30s intervals.
- ISO: Auto, ISO100, ISO400, ISO1600.
- Loop-cycle recording: 5min, OFF.
