Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your air fryer, please consult the following common problems and solutions:
- Appliance does not turn on:
Ensure the power cord is securely plugged into a grounded electrical outlet. Check if the circuit breaker has tripped. Ensure the frying basket is fully inserted into the main unit. - Food is not cooked evenly:
Shake the basket halfway through the cooking process for even results. Do not overfill the basket; cook in smaller batches if necessary. Adjust temperature or cooking time as needed. - White smoke comes from the appliance:
This may indicate that you are frying greasy ingredients. Ensure the crisper plate and basket are clean and free of oil residue from previous use. Excessive oil can cause smoke. - Food is not crispy:
Ensure food is patted dry before cooking. A light coating of oil can help achieve crispiness. Do not overcrowd the basket. - Basket does not slide into the appliance properly:
Ensure the basket is not overfilled and that the crisper plate is correctly positioned. Push the basket firmly until it clicks into place.
