2. Product Features

4. Safety Information
To reduce the risk of electric shock, do not open the device. Refer all servicing to qualified service personnel. Do not expose this equipment to rain or moisture. Ensure proper ventilation and avoid placing the unit near heat sources.
5. Setup
5.1 Physical Connections
- Power Connection: Connect the provided power cable to the AC input on the rear panel of the equalizer and then to a suitable power outlet (110V-220V).
- Audio Input: Connect your audio source (e.g., mixer, audio interface) to the INPUT 1 and INPUT 2 ports on the rear panel using appropriate cables (RCA or XLR).
- Audio Output: Connect the equalizer's OUTPUT 1 and OUTPUT 2 ports to your amplifier or next audio device using RCA or XLR cables.
- USB Connection: For computer control, connect the USB data cable from the front panel USB port to your computer.

5.2 Software Installation (for USB Control)
If you intend to control the equalizer via computer, install the debugging software provided with the unit. Follow the on-screen instructions. The software supports both English and Chinese languages.

6. Operation
6.1 Powering On/Off
Press the power switch on the rear panel to turn the unit on or off. The LCD display and LED indicators on the front panel will illuminate upon power-up.
6.2 Adjusting Frequency Bands
Use the individual control sliders or knobs on the front panel to adjust the gain for each of the 31 frequency bands. The LED indicators will visually represent the current gain levels.
6.3 Using Preset Effects
The equalizer supports 10 preset effects. To save a custom setting:
- Adjust the frequency bands and other parameters to your desired settings.
- Press the SAVE button.
- Select a preset slot (1-10) using the CONTROL or GAIN buttons.
- Press SAVE again to confirm and store the preset.
To recall a preset, select the desired preset slot and activate it.

6.4 Noise Gate Function
Activate the noise gate function to reduce unwanted background noise. This feature helps maintain audio clarity, especially in environments with ambient sound interference.
6.5 Computer Control
Once the USB cable is connected and software installed, you can control all equalizer functions directly from your computer. This allows for precise adjustments and visual feedback.

7. Maintenance
- Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the exterior of the unit. Do not use liquid cleaners or solvents.
- Ventilation: Ensure that the ventilation openings are not blocked to prevent overheating.
- Storage: When not in use for extended periods, store the equalizer in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
8. Troubleshooting
- No Power: Check if the power cable is securely connected to both the unit and the power outlet. Ensure the power switch is in the 'ON' position.
- No Sound Output: Verify all audio input and output cables are correctly connected. Check the gain settings on the equalizer and connected devices. Ensure the correct input source is selected on your amplifier/mixer.
- Distorted Sound: Reduce the input gain to prevent clipping. Check cable integrity. Ensure frequency band adjustments are not excessively boosting certain frequencies.
- Software Connection Issues: Ensure the USB cable is properly connected. Reinstall the debugging software if necessary. Check your computer's device manager to confirm the equalizer is recognized.
