4. Setup Guide

2. USB Charge: Connect the camera to a 5V DC power adapter using the provided USB cable.

4.2 SIM Card Installation

The camera requires a 4G SIM card for network connectivity. Locate the SIM card slot, typically protected by a waterproof cover. Carefully insert the activated 4G SIM card into the designated slot. Ensure the SIM card is correctly oriented and securely seated to establish a network connection.

4.3 App Installation and Pairing

1. Download the V380 APP from your smartphone's app store (Android or iOS).
2. Register for an account or log in if you already have one.
3. Follow the in-app instructions to add your new camera. This typically involves scanning a QR code on the camera or manually entering its device ID.
4. Ensure your camera is powered on and the 4G SIM card has an active data plan for successful pairing.

4.4 Mounting the Camera

The camera is designed for wall mounting. Choose a location that provides the desired surveillance coverage and receives adequate sunlight for the solar panel. Use the provided mounting accessories to securely attach the camera to a wall or suitable surface. Ensure the camera is positioned to avoid obstructions and optimize solar exposure.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Live View and PTZ Control

Open the V380 APP on your smartphone. Select your camera from the device list to access the live view. You can control the camera's pan (355°) and tilt (90°) movements directly from the app interface to adjust the viewing angle and eliminate blind spots.

5.2 Motion Detection and Alerts

The camera utilizes a PIR motion sensor and AI algorithms to detect human and animal movement. When motion is detected, the camera will:

• Automatically begin recording the event.
• Send a real-time notification to your V380 APP.
• Allow you to activate the built-in spotlight or sound an alarm via the app to deter intruders.

5.3 Two-Way Audio

Utilize the built-in microphone and speaker through the V380 APP to engage in two-way conversations with individuals near the camera. This feature is useful for communicating with visitors or deterring unwanted guests.

5.4 Video Storage and Playback

Recorded events can be stored in two ways:

• Local SD Card: Insert a microSD card (up to 128GB, not included) into the camera's SD card slot. Recordings will be saved locally.
• Cloud Service: Subscribe to the optional cloud storage service via the V380 APP for secure off-site storage.

Access and playback recorded footage anytime through the V380 APP. You can also download recordings to your smartphone.

6. Maintenance

• Cleaning: Regularly clean the solar panel and camera lenses with a soft, damp cloth to ensure optimal performance and clear image quality. Avoid abrasive cleaners.
• Battery Health: Ensure the solar panel is free from obstructions (e.g., dirt, leaves) to maximize charging efficiency. If the camera is in a consistently shaded area, consider occasional USB charging.
• Firmware Updates: Check the V380 APP periodically for firmware updates. Keeping the camera's firmware updated ensures optimal performance and security.

7. Troubleshooting

7.1 Camera Not Connecting to App

• Check 4G SIM: Ensure the SIM card is correctly inserted, activated, and has an active data plan. Verify 4G signal strength in the camera's location.
• Power Supply: Confirm the camera has sufficient battery charge. If low, charge via USB or ensure the solar panel is receiving direct sunlight.
• App Version: Ensure your V380 APP is updated to the latest version.
• Re-pairing: Try removing the camera from the app and re-adding it following the setup instructions.

7.2 Solar Panel Not Charging Effectively

• Sunlight Exposure: Verify the solar panel is receiving at least 4-6 hours of direct sunlight daily. Relocate if necessary.
• Cleanliness: Clean the surface of the solar panel to remove any dirt, dust, or debris that might obstruct sunlight absorption.
• Panel Orientation: Adjust the angle of the solar panel to face the sun directly for maximum efficiency.

• 4G Signal: A weak 4G signal can affect live stream quality. Check signal strength in the app.
