  2. Car Battery Charging: The Tracer Racers cars are equipped with replaceable, rechargeable Lithium Polymer batteries. 4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Powering On and Connecting

Once the track is assembled and cars are charged, place the cars on the track. Turn on the remote controllers. The cars and controllers should automatically pair. If not, ensure both are powered on and within range.

4.2 Driving the Cars

Use the trigger on the remote controller to control the speed of your Tracer Racer. The cars can be driven at variable speeds, reaching a top to-scale speed of 500 miles per hour. The undercarriage lights on the cars utilize Light Tracing Technology, leaving glowing streaks on the glow-in-the-dark track as they race.

5. Maintenance

5.1 Battery Care

  • Always remove AA batteries from the controllers if the set will not be used for an extended period to prevent leakage.
  • Regularly charge the car's Lithium Polymer batteries to maintain their lifespan. Avoid fully depleting the battery before recharging.

5.2 Cleaning

Wipe down the track sections and cars with a soft, dry cloth to remove dust and debris. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners, as these may damage the glow-in-the-dark surface or electronic components.

5.3 Storage

When not in use, disassemble the track and store all components in their original packaging or a suitable container to protect them from dust and damage. Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.

6. Troubleshooting

  • Cars not moving or responding:
    • Check if the car batteries are charged.
    • Ensure fresh AA batteries are installed correctly in the remote controllers.
    • Verify that the cars are properly placed on the track.
    • Confirm that the controllers and cars are powered on and paired.
  • Glow effect is weak or absent:
    • Ensure the room is sufficiently dark. The glow effect is most visible in low-light conditions.
    • Check if the car's undercarriage lights are functioning.
  • Cars frequently derail:
    • Ensure all track connections are secure and flat.
    • Adjust car speed, especially on curves and loops.
