2. Setup Instructions

2.1 Connecting the Keypad

Connect the provided USB-C cable to the port on the back of the keypad and the other end to an available USB port on your computer. The keypad is plug-and-play for basic functionality.

3. Operating Instructions

3.1 Key Remapping and Macros

Using the VIAL software, you can remap individual keys and create complex macros. Navigate to the 'Keymap' or 'Macros' tab in VIAL. Select the key you wish to modify, then choose the desired function from the available categories (Basic, Quantum, Media, etc.).

3.2 Layer Switching and Knob Functions

To clean the keypad, disconnect it from your computer. Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe down the aluminum casing and keycaps. For deeper cleaning, keycaps can be removed, and compressed air can be used to clear debris from between the switches.

• Keypad not recognized by VIAL: Ensure the USB-C cable is securely connected. Try a different USB port or cable. Verify that your browser is up to date and allows HID device connections. If issues persist, try restarting your computer and the VIAL web interface.
• Keys not responding: Check the physical connection of the USB-C cable. If individual keys are not responding, consider removing the keycap and switch to inspect for debris or damage. Replace the switch if necessary.
• OLED display not showing layer: Ensure the keypad is powered on and connected. If the display remains blank, try reconnecting the keypad. If the issue persists, it may indicate a hardware fault.
• RGB lighting not working or incorrect: Verify settings in the VIAL 'Lighting' tab. Ensure brightness is not set to zero.
