Setup

Initial Charging

Before first use, fully charge the device using the provided charging cable. Connect the cable to the radio's charging port and a standard USB power adapter (not included). The LED indicator will show charging status. Alternatively, place the radio in direct sunlight to utilize the solar charging panel. Ensure the solar panel is clean and unobstructed for efficient charging.

Attaching the Shoulder Strap

Attach the shoulder carry strap to the designated loops on the sides of the radio for convenient portability.

Operating Instructions

Power On/Off

Locate the power switch, typically on the side or front panel. Slide or press to turn the radio on or off.

Radio Mode (FM/AM/SW)

  1. Extend the telescopic antenna for better reception.
  2. Press the MODE button to cycle through FM, AM, and SW bands.
  3. Use the TUNING knob to manually scan for stations.
  4. For automatic scanning (if available), refer to the specific button labeled for auto-scan or long-press the play/pause button.

Bluetooth Connectivity

  1. Press the MODE button until "Bluetooth" or "BT" is displayed on the screen, or a voice prompt indicates Bluetooth mode.
  2. On your mobile device, enable Bluetooth and search for available devices.
  3. Select "NS-2036S" (or similar name) from the list to pair. A confirmation sound will indicate successful pairing.
  4. You can now play audio from your device through the radio.

USB/TF Card Playback

  1. Insert a USB flash drive or a TF (Micro SD) card into the respective port.
  2. The radio should automatically switch to USB or TF card playback mode. If not, press the MODE button.
  3. Use the PREV/VOL- and NEXT/VOL+ buttons to navigate tracks and adjust volume.

Night Light / Flashlight Function

Press the LIGHT button (or similar labeled button) to activate the built-in night light/flashlight. Press again to turn it off.

TWS Function (True Wireless Stereo)

If you have two NS-2036S units, you can pair them for True Wireless Stereo sound. Power on both units and ensure they are in Bluetooth mode. On one unit, long-press the TWS button (if available) or a specific pairing button. The units will attempt to connect to each other. Once paired, connect your mobile device to one of the units, and audio will play through both.

Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the radio's surface. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
  • Solar Panel: Keep the solar panel clean and free of dust or debris to ensure efficient charging.
  • Storage: When not in use for extended periods, store the radio in a cool, dry place. It is recommended to fully charge the battery every 3-6 months to maintain battery health.
  • Water Resistance: This device is not waterproof. Avoid exposure to rain, splashes, or high humidity.
