3. Setup and Assembly

Assembly of the VEVOR hospital bed is required. Due to the bed's weight (approximately 146.5 kg / 323 lbs), it is strongly recommended to have 3-4 people assist with unpacking and assembly, especially if stairs are involved.

3.1 Unpacking

  • Carefully remove all components from the packaging.

The bed is equipped with 5-inch lockable casters. To move the bed, ensure all casters are unlocked. To secure the bed in place, engage the locking mechanism on each caster by pressing down the lever.

4.1 Control Panels

The bed can be adjusted using either the Nurse Control Panel or the Side Rail Control Panel. Both panels provide intuitive control over all bed functions.

4.2 Adjustable Functions

4.3 Control Panel Button Functions (Refer to Figure 4.1)

  1. Raise Back Rest: Elevates the back section of the bed.
  2. Lower Back Rest: Lowers the back section of the bed.

  4. Lower Knee Rest: Lowers the knee section of the bed.
  5. Raise Back + Knee Rest: Elevates both back and knee sections simultaneously.

  8. Lower Bed: Lowers the entire bed frame.

  15. Power On/Off: Turns the bed's power on or off.
