Maintenance
Regular cleaning and maintenance are crucial for the longevity and hygienic operation of your YOWMOFT Automatic Cat Feeder and Water Dispenser. All removable parts are designed for easy cleaning.
Feeder Maintenance:
- Cleaning: Disassemble the pet food bucket, rotors, and food bowl. Wash these parts with mild soap and water. Rinse thoroughly and dry completely before reassembly. The main unit should be wiped clean with a damp cloth; do not immerse it in water.
- Desiccant Bag: Replace the desiccant bag every 1-2 months, or as needed, to ensure optimal food freshness.
- Food Residue: Periodically check the food dispensing mechanism for any kibble residue that might cause jams.
Water Fountain Maintenance:
- Cleaning: Disassemble the water storage tank, pump, water duct, and upper cover. Wash all parts (except the pump's electrical components) with mild soap and water. Clean the pump thoroughly, including the impeller, to prevent mineral buildup. Rinse and dry completely.
- Filter Replacement: The filter cartridge should be replaced every 30 days to ensure continuous clean water.
- Water Level: Always ensure the water level is sufficient to cover the pump.
