5. Setup and Installation
Follow these steps for proper installation of your NuIth Double DIN Radio Dash Kit and Wiring Harness:
- Prepare the Vehicle: Ensure the vehicle's battery is disconnected before beginning any electrical work. Carefully remove the factory radio and surrounding dash bezel according to your vehicle's service manual.
- Install Aftermarket Radio into Dash Kit: Secure your new double DIN aftermarket radio into the NuIth dash kit. The kit is designed to hold the radio firmly in place, filling any gaps that might otherwise appear.
- Connect Wiring Harness: Connect the NuIth radio wiring harness to your aftermarket radio's harness. Then, connect the vehicle-specific end of the NuIth harness to the factory wiring harness in your Toyota 4Runner. This allows for direct connection without cutting original wiring. Ensure all connections are secure.
- Test Connections: Before fully reassembling the dash, reconnect the vehicle battery and test the functionality of the new radio (power, audio, balance, fade, etc.).
- Reassemble Dash: Once functionality is confirmed, carefully reinstall the dash kit with the new radio into the factory location. Ensure all clips and screws are properly secured.

6. Operating
The NuIth Double DIN Radio Dash Kit and Wiring Harness are passive components designed to facilitate the installation and electrical connection of an aftermarket radio. They do not have operational functions themselves. The operation of your new radio will depend on the specific aftermarket unit installed.
7. Maintenance
The dash kit and wiring harness require minimal maintenance. Periodically inspect connections for security. Clean the dash kit with a soft, damp cloth as needed. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners, which may damage the finish.

- Radio Not Powering On:
- Check all wiring harness connections for proper seating.

- No Audio Output:

- Dash Kit Does Not Fit:
