Maintenance and Cleaning
Regular cleaning ensures optimal performance and longevity of your air fryer oven.
- Unplug and Cool: Always unplug the appliance from the power outlet and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
- Exterior Cleaning: Wipe the exterior with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or scouring pads.
- Interior Cleaning: Wipe the interior walls with a damp cloth and mild detergent. For stubborn stains, use a non-abrasive sponge. Ensure the interior is completely dry before next use.
- Accessory Cleaning: All removable accessories (baskets, trays, racks) should be washed with warm, soapy water. They are not dishwasher safe. Rinse thoroughly and dry completely.
- Heating Element: Do not attempt to clean the heating elements directly. Any food residue on the heating element will burn off during operation.

Figure 9: Cleaning Comparison. This image visually contrasts a clean oven interior with a heating element protected by a cover (left, labeled 'Less cleaning, higher safety') against a dirty oven interior where oils can drip directly onto the heating element (right, labeled 'More cleaning, higher safety risks'), emphasizing the design for easier maintenance and safety.
