Introduction

This manual provides detailed instructions for the setup, operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of your REACHER Sunrise Alarm Clock. Please read this manual thoroughly before using the product to ensure proper function and longevity.

Setup

1. Power Connection

Connect the provided power adapter to the DC input port on the back of the alarm clock and then plug it into a standard wall outlet. The display will light up.

2. Initial Time Setting

Upon first power-up or after a prolonged power outage, you may need to set the time. Refer to the 'Operating Instructions' section for detailed instructions on setting the clock time.

3. Battery Backup

The alarm clock includes a built-in LR44 battery (included) that automatically remembers your last clock, sound, and nightlight settings in case of a power interruption. This battery is for backup purposes only and does not power the main functions of the clock.

Operating Instructions

1. Setting the Clock Time

Locate the 'clockface' button on the top of the unit. Press and hold this button to enter time setting mode. Use the '+' and '-' buttons (or similar navigation buttons) to adjust hours and minutes. Press the 'clockface' button again to confirm and exit.

2. Sunrise Simulation (Wake Up Light)

The sunrise simulation feature gradually increases light intensity over a period of 5 to 60 minutes before your set alarm time, mimicking a natural dawn. This provides a gentle wake-up experience. A silent mode with only the sunrise light is also available.

3. Alarm Clock Functions

The device supports multiple alarm settings. You can choose from 3 pre-set alarm sounds or use the FM radio as an alarm sound. To set an alarm:

1. Press the 'Alarm' button (usually indicated by an alarm icon).
2. Use the navigation buttons to set the desired alarm time.
3. Select your preferred alarm sound (pre-set sounds or FM radio).
4. Confirm your settings.

Snooze Function: When the alarm sounds, press the large snooze button located on the top of the unit to get an additional 9 minutes of sleep. The alarm will sound again after the snooze period.

4. FM Radio

The built-in FM radio allows you to listen to your favorite stations. The frequency range is 87.5-108.0MHz.

• Auto Scan: Press and hold the 'FM' button (or similar radio icon) to automatically scan and save all available stations.
• Manual Tuning: Briefly press the 'FM' button to switch to manual tuning mode, then use the navigation buttons to fine-tune to a specific frequency.

5. Bluetooth Speaker

The alarm clock features a Bluetooth speaker for wireless audio streaming from your mobile devices.

1. Press the 'Bluetooth' button (usually indicated by a Bluetooth icon) to activate Bluetooth pairing mode. The device will emit an audible prompt or display a pairing indicator.
2. On your mobile device, enable Bluetooth and search for "REACHER R7-2nd-Gen" (or similar device name) in the list of available devices.
3. Select the device to pair. Once connected, you can stream audio wirelessly.

6. Dimmable Light & Night Light

The device functions as a versatile light source with 8 color options, adjustable from 0% to 100% brightness. It can be used as a bedside lamp, reading light, or ambient light.

• Press the 'Lightbulb' button on the top of the unit to cycle through light modes and colors.
• Use the brightness adjustment dials (located on the back of the unit) to fine-tune the light intensity.

7. Adjusting Display Brightness

The digital time display brightness is adjustable from 0% to 100% to prevent disruption to your sleep. Use the dedicated brightness adjustment dial (often located on the back or side of the unit) to set your preferred display intensity.

Maintenance

Cleaning

To clean the device, gently wipe the surface with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners, waxes, or solvents as they may damage the finish. Ensure the device is unplugged before cleaning.

Care Instructions

• Avoid exposing the device to extreme temperatures, direct sunlight, or high humidity.
• Do not immerse the device in water or any other liquid.
