Setup Instructions

1. Initial Charging & App Download

Before installation, fully charge the camera's built-in 5000mAh battery using the provided USB-C cable. While charging, download the "VicoHome" app from your smartphone's app store (available on iOS and Android).

2. Camera Activation & Wi-Fi Connection

Open the feeder's top cover to access the camera compartment. Turn on the camera. Follow the in-app instructions to connect the camera to your 2.4G Wi-Fi network (5G Wi-Fi is not supported). Ensure a stable Wi-Fi signal at the chosen installation location.

3. Feeder Assembly

Assemble the feeder components: attach the perch, hummingbird feeder, and fruit holders as desired. The double-bin design allows for two types of bird food.

4. Mounting the Feeder & Solar Panel

Choose a location that receives ample sunlight for the solar panel and offers a good view of birds. The feeder can be pole-mounted, tree-mounted (using the provided strap), or wall-mounted. Position the solar panel to maximize sun exposure throughout the day to ensure continuous battery charging.

Operating Instructions

1. Real-time Bird Watching & Notifications

Once connected, open the VicoHome app to view live 1080P HD video from your feeder. The camera features auto motion detection and will send real-time notifications to your phone when birds visit. You can also manually record videos or capture photos.

2. AI Bird Identification

The advanced AI recognition technology can identify over 11,000 bird species. When a bird is detected, the app will attempt to identify it and provide information, enhancing your bird watching experience.
